Wahl Colour Pro Cordless Clipper

Very good product and colour coded guards to easily identify the length you need. This is really useful when you learn the colour/length combo. Much easier than squinting to read the size on each guard (maybe I'm just getting lazy though). I'd recommend this as I had a different Wahl trimmer I couldn't get away with. My beard gets quite full if grown and have used this to trim down from lots of different lengths and haven't had any issues. Remember not to wet the blade as it will rust.

Great easy to use clipper, affordable and color coated. Works well to cut the hair, and bonus storage box is great to keep everything in one spot. The guards come in a range from short to long and have enough variety to cover anyone’s needs, because of the color coating you won’t have to worry about accidentally picking up the wrong guard. A cut above.......

Had a similar set of Wahl clippers years ago for my dog and they were brilliant. After having to then hone my skills during lockdown to keep my partner well groomed I decided his 'toy' clippers were useless and ordered the Wahl pro styler. Worth every penny! The colour coded guards are a great boon to finding the right size to grade the cut. It is a good chunky machine that is very comfortable to work with when using over a long period. (I had to tame the man's beard as well...) The only slight niggle I have is how hot the clippers get. But that might be because I did spend so long really trying to achieve a nice balanced cut to head and beard. Very impressed though - nice and easy and gives a brilliant cut! Easy to hold and wide range of comb sizes

Fantastic. Best hair clippers I’ve ever bought. Always used Remington in the past, but batteries don’t seem to last as long between charges. This one is as they say ‘a no brainier’ With the combs being colour coded so you can’t get them mixed up. Believe me I once left the Combes off and nearly scalped myself with the old clippers. Charges quickly enough for a quick trim with fat charge or for the full Monty a longer charge suffices. Easy to hold and direct. Your ache to get a good grip due to the shape. Looks good and you can’t beat the price for value. Covered by a guarantee and well known brand name. I highly recommend this one

I purchased the Wahl Color Trimmer Kit because my 10+year old trimmer, a Phillips Norelco Grooming Kit G485 battery would no longer hold a charge. With the Norelco I could never get a clean one-length cut which was the one thing I hated with the trimmer.This Wahl Color Trimmer solved that problem, no more uneven length cuts with balding or scalped areas. I especially like the Secure-Fit Guards with large, easy-to-see comb sizes that are color coded, and YES, they will give you the length you want with no ‘scalping’ and uneven cuts of facial hair. The colored Secure-Fit Guards are easy to snap into place, although I do wonder how these plastic snap-clips will wear over time with the constant removal for cleaning the blade area. The Wahl Color Trimmer is powerful, not overly noisy and feels great in the hand. I’m hoping to get many years of use and the price was excellent, under thirty bucks. The kit came with an Ear & Nose Trimmer which I have not used yet. Before the first use, I charged the trimmer for 24-hours and the red led light on the front of the trimmer stays on while charging; it does not go off or turn ‘green’ to let you know when the trimmer is charged, something I wish it did.All-in-all I’m very happy with the Wahl Color Trimmer I purchased from Sam’s Club. Great kit and quick delivery

We are seniors and have been social distancing. I was very nervous about giving my husband a haircut. I tried to convince him that maybe he should just wear a ponytail or a man bun, but he wasnt buying it. This kit is a good choice for a beginner (and maybe for more advanced hair cutters, too). Makes a good pet trimmer!

I needed a new pet trimmer for my Lhasa Apso and Mini Schnoodle- both needing regular grooming but one with a double coat and somewhat thicker hair, and the other with very fine soft hair. Wanting to save a few dollars, I opted for this cordless Wahl Pro trimmer with the color coded clipper guards. First, the color coded guards are perfect for knowing which length to cut. I have had clippers with all black guards which forces me to search for the number each time I want to switch to a different guard for different links. This makes the process much more efficientl. The other benefit to this clipper is being cordless, my one dog is not a fan of haircuts to begin with, so having a cord swaying around her in the process actually caused more anxiety in the past. This is a low profile clipper so your dog will not notice it as much as a corded clipper. The noise level to me was the same as the corded versions, and the Wahl Pet clipper (my prior clipper). The charge lasted for the entire clipping of my Lhasa, which was approximately 35 minutes and still had much of the batter remaining. I do agree with another reviewer that if the dog has mats (my Lhasa did), then this clipper has a difficult time clipping through, but it was not a significant difference. Overall, I give this clipper two paws up! Thinking of getting one for my husband too!

Brought this to replace older corded Wahl Clippers. Brilliant to use so much lighter than original. Good selection of clip on guides a bonus, colour coded. Noticed its getting a little noisier than at purchase time. 1 down side is the supplied scisdors have reallt small finger and thumb holes great for kids not so good for adults with average sized hands.

Super purchase

Bought this just after Corona lockdown because I couldnt find any hair cutters with queues less than 14 miles long to get my barnet sorted. Wish I had have bought these Wahl clippers sooner. That are the real deal. Comfortable in the hand and blades super sharp. Not sure the 1 - 8 grading combs need to be different colours but thats not to much of an issue. The no1 is tight enough to do my beard but to be sure I had a go at my wifes beard before I did my own. All in all, great brand, great design, very effective, rechargeable and free hairdressers bag with bits and bobs in. And finally, at this price, these clippers are a bargain all day long.

I had managed to break my Tchibo clipper rechargeable. The Wahl was direct from the manufacturer at an offer price and was a similar arrangement. This type has clip-on guides rather than a mechanical adjustment. It can be used plugged in or cordless. This was like my old shaver.The Wahl is much more powerful but does get hot towards the end of a complete trim. I also use for a full beard trim, without the guides. The included oil is a good idea as I now know this is the best way to keep the blades in good order. Especially if cleaning first with IPA.The power supply/ charger has a cable that looks a bit thin. Time will tell.The instructions were a bit minimal, compared to my old trimmer. The on-line general guides were useful though.
