This product is fantastic. Easy to use and save a fortune when grooming your dog. It even works well on a thick coat like our Japanese Spitz. Just do it gradually and it has all the attachments needed to do a good job.

I purchase a 9265 for $120.00 this week. Washed and dried my Maltese who is a bit shaggy. Spent and hour and gave up. I started with #4 and that did bugger all. Went to a #3 and that produced the same result. All that happened is that the clippers continually bogged up.I probably only got 3-4 handfuls of fur in the hour I spent. Thankfully, my dog is very patient.

Purchased this product 6 months ago and already they have packed up. Used as directed, kept blades oiled, only used on clean dry dog. Got set to groom him again today and they're not doing anything. Now I have to go out and find something else to groom the dog with - it won't be this brand though.

I purchase a 9265 for $120.00 this week. Washed and dried my Maltese who is a bit shaggy. Spent and hour and gave up. I started with #4 and that did bugger all. Went to a #3 and that produced the same result. All that happened is that the clippers continually bogged up.I probably only got 3-4 handfuls of fur in the hour I spent. Thankfully, my dog is very patient.

Would return them if I could. They are quite heavy and wouldn’t cut the hair of either of my Maltese X dogs with the guards on. The clip is too short to use without the guards - I should have bought another pair of the Wahl k2 - they lasted me 15 years and were very good
These are an American-made product and thus are made to run at 60 Hz (AC freq) which is what the USA uses. Australia uses 50 Hz, which causes major issues, namely, absurd levels of noise and vibration, and no cutting power, no matter how much the adjustment screws are adjusted. This renders the clippers effectively useless in Australia. Don't waste your money like I did; make sure you buy a brand/model that is made for use with Australian power points i.e. 50 Hz !
I purchased these clippers for my daughters companion dog who is a Golden Retriever. He is very timid and used to become panicked by the feel and the sound of previous clippers. He allowed me to do even his most sensitive areas without pulling away with our new Wahl. It does a precision job too!
Pro, It runs on mains power good for lengthy jobs. Cons This clipper is no good for fine hair dogs like Shi Tzu. Does not cut the hair with the bigger guides like 13 mm and 10 mm (which i like to use) Used 6 mm guide and laboured through the process by using a comb to hold the hair. the clipper is next to useless once it comes to cutting the hair on the feet ( i had to use the clipper without a guide to get the job done) After cutting for about 45 min the clipper gets heavy and quite hot Will use the scissors again next time
I have 2 cavoodle's with thick coats. These clippers started to cut, but clog up really quick & then won't cut. I wasted a $120. Better off to pay a groomer to do the job. Or use them for maintaining, after the dog has been groomed. Probs ok for short hair dogs, but not for cavoodles..!
Does the job for an economical clipper. Tho would recommend going the range more suited to silky hair bischon or Lhasa apso type.
I bought this a month ago and was very satisfied.I have a shitzu with very long hair, and it worked a dream. Reasonably quiet which was good cos she hates any loud noises. I thought it would take ages but was pretty quick. Love the bonus nail trimmer, I can save money by doing all her grooming myself.10/10
