I've been using Bay Rum for about six months now, and was luck to snap up two more bottles on sale. I love the smell of old style barber shops, and Bay Rum brings it all back to me from many years ago. My wife likes it too, so that's a double win!

I have been looking for Bay Rum for years ,I used to wear it all the time .This is the closest I have found to the original but not as good! I guess I will never find the original recipe. Why do they ALWAYS stop producing the best of everything? Sincerely Ken. PS The original was a deep red/brown color and was a more pungent smell!
This is nice , I have always seen this brand in quality Barber Stores and thought I woul try it. Bay Run does not have fragrance like other aftershave, it is more of a formula that cares for your face and stimulate the face and conditions your skin.
My kids reckon I am an old fashioned bloke, but my daughter admits she loves the smell. Son gives me heaps but sprang him using mine the other day for the same reason my daughter does because his girl loves the smell too......so guess who's the cool "oldie" in the house now. This product has the traditional "just like the barber's use" smell, leaves no residue in your hair and helps keep my hair looking good all day. I think it adds that little difference to feeling good about your appearance and self.
This is a good aftershave, easy to apply and leaves no film on my skin. The only slightly disappointing thing about it is that the fragrance is gone completely within a few minutes. The product itself smells great, just does not last.
As a your lad I spent most weekends with my paternal grandparents. Grandpa always used Bardsleys Bay Rum and I never forgot the refreshing smell. These days, some 50 years later, Bardsley seems to have disappeared from the market but I discovered Wahl Bay Rum so gave it a try. Seems to be pretty close to the original my Grandpa used, hence my title for this review!
I have only just started to use the Rum after a friend told me he was using it. My problem was at the age of eighty my scalp was getting itchy & now after rubbing the rum into my scalp after having a shower it has improved the problem. Recommend its worth using.
Works great to prevent post-shave pimples & infections. Not irritating like some aftershave. Smells OK.
