So the parts seem to be good quality but they were unusable because my kicker was not able to use the adapters. So I guess It would have been helpful to better explain that in the description of the adapter kit. My kicker was a 2015 which can only use a QR you can’t use any type of thru axel. I thought I was going to have to sell mine and order a new one but, Garmin or Tacx makes a adapter that will work on my kicker. This is something that wahoo should have or at least tell people about.

Does the job well but a small instruction sheet wouldn’t go astray. There’s not even a video explaining how to fit it. It’s obviously not difficult to do but reassurances when you’re fitting something to your pride and joy would be better

Worked perfectly for my SRAM XDR upgrade. I do believe it should have been offered as a repair of the original purchase. Needed the 12mm thru axle for the upgrade from QR and the original kit made it almost impossible so this was a good fix.

I bought this to replace the dual width non-drive side adapter that originally came with my kickr core, because it would “stick” to my bike ( a 2016 Trek Domane) when trying to remove the thru axle and make it very difficult to remove. Also it was hard to line it up when installing the axle. This new adapter made it much easier to install and remove. I docked it one star because none of the new drive side adapters would fit into the cassette properly and I had to use the original one that came with the core.
I purchased this kit hoping to get the drive side through axle adapter that I lost. Well the kit I got was for newer bikes only, plus 1adapter short of the 5 shown in the picture. So I tried to reach wahoo support to rectify my issue. Support was closed to a week for training. I finally got through the human being 1 wk later and requested the adapter I needed, and suggested the website be updated to reflect the contents of the kit, and to sell adapters for older bikes.
The Wahoo customer service team was excellent. My actual issue, that I am finding out now, is that my bike (2022 BMC Teammachine SLR 03) is completely incompatible with V2 Wahoo Kickr trainer that I purchase from a "market place"."Thru Axle" kit will not solve the problem of mounting the bike to the trainer. I have learned a lot! I now realized this was my mistake buying an aftermarket item.
Perfect answer to my challenge.Wish there was a program in wahoo that combined data on your trainer model, bike frame model and drivetrain to assist in setting up correctly.12 gear cassette needs this kit for thru axle.
My Trek Emonda never felt right on the core trainer which I thought was all down to tweaks required in the indexing. Trainer sessions were spoilt as a result. Once realisation that it might be the bike geometry on the trainer seeing this possible solution was worth a try and it has totally solved the problem and trainer sessions are smooth and completely enjoyable again.
I have a Kickr v5, my bike uses a 148 thru-axle, but the adapter that comes with the Kickr makes it so difficult to mount the bike. It's extremely unstable and easily falls out. This is because the adapter is used for 142 thru-axle.The 148 adapter in the kit is so much better. Bike slips on easily now and much steadier. Why didn't Wahoo include this version with the Kickr.
