I’m new to treadmills and have a small home so I needed a foldable one. I am working on getting several autoimmune illnesses back into remission and am at the point where walking is possible, but not in the heat or cold outside, so a treadmill seemed like a good idea. This x21 has been really great in the two weeks I’ve had it. I got it on sale and the price has even increased since I got it at the new year, yeesh. It’s easy enough to lug into place (about 4 feet from where it’s stored) and open it up, and I don’t have much strength anymore so if I can do it, most people shouldn’t have a problem. The transport wheels are utterly useless on anything besides hard flooring. The dial and display are perfect and feel fancy. Smooth action, large bright display. My walking stride jiggles the unit and display/safety bar a lot (my tv remote and phone have shimmied off and fallen a few times) but I’m working on taking softer strides and that seems to alleviate that. I do notice the fold point as I walk, like other reviewers have noted, but it doesn’t bother me at all- I just imagine it’s a sidewalk crease. I can’t speak for longevity or how it physically holds up, but two weeks in I’ve thrown away the return box, bought a new pair of walking shoes, and am ready to keep getting healthier and stronger! I would definitely recommend it if you don’t have space for a more solid treadmill, but also recommend to wait for it to go on sale to really make it worth the purchase.

I stumbled upon a YouTube short video while I was looking for best compact treadmill and I'm glad I saw a customer review on the Walking Pad. I live in small townhome so I have limited space. The Walking Pad x21 is perfect for what I need. I store it in the closet under the stairs or sometimes when I'm too tired, i wheel it to the small corner of my living room and it's not an eye sore. I love how compact it is but surprisingly and especially how sturdy it is. It can go up to 7.5 miles/hours, granted I don't run on it but that is a pretty fast for the size. I do however run short bursts up to 5 miles/hour for about 15 minutes then go back to walking for my exercise. The walking pad is perfect and I can tell it will last me for a long time.

I sold my car to buy this treadmill and build a gym in my garage. Unfortunately, this has been the worst purchase that I have made all year and I am very upset. I don't recommend buying any products from WalkingPad - KingSmith. Here are a list of problems that I've had:1. The extension cord included with the treadmill is very short, so I had to buy a longer extension cord to use the treadmill in an appropriate spot in my gym.2. The treadmill would constantly lose power and shut off while I was in the middle of a run, which made it very unsafe.3. The language on the display was in Chinese and there was no direction in the manual on how to change it so I had to contact customer service.3. The treadmill now starts at 6MPH versus a slower speed and the safety key ... MoreI sold my car to buy this treadmill and build a gym in my garage. The display reads PASS or F1 but nothing else, which goes to show it's officially out of control. The fact that I've had this treadmill for less than a year and experienced all these problems leads me to believe that WalkingPad - KingSmith does not understand quality control. Do not buy any products from WalkingPad - KingSmith if you value your safety.

Had my WalkingPad X21 for nearly 3 weeks and am really pleased with it. Was easy to set up and had no trouble connecting the app to the treadmill. Feels much more robust and comfortable than the cheaper small home treadmill we replaced. Folds and unfolds easily making it a great spare room purchase. Love the displays on the handrail so I’m not always looking down at my feet to check progress, and can maintain a good posture more easily. The only thing that could be better is the phone/tablet holder, as when the treadmill is above walking pace my phone slides around and would fall off if left there. But that’s a minor inconvenience on an otherwise great device.
I have rated it right in the middle with 3 starts given the pro & consPros1. Very easy to set up. Just open & use.2. Very easy to fold away and move if you need to. However please note when you fold it it makes quite a noise. Similarly when you open the last part. So I try not to fold it unless it is a must.3. At around 37 Kg it is light enough to be carried ( by 2 people) to any floor you like.4. Belt moves smoothlyCons1. Not very quiet. Nosier than a normal high end thread mill one uses in a gym.I have to turn the volume of the TV quite high to listen when I am the walk pad. This is by using the walking pad rubber mat below it which is on top of a carpet. Despite this it is not very quiet.2. Too early to tell how the quality is. I hope it lasts. It only comes with one year warranty.3. If it needs repair than one has to send it back to the company and pay for shipping it. I hope it never happens as I had no place to keep the huge packing box and foam support that it came in. I don’t know how I will pack it. The company should have an option to send an engineer to fix it. I hope it does not break down.
I have a small house and don’t have the room for a full-size treadmill. I was super happy when I found this folding treadmill. It’s a very slick and clever design. While it doesn’t have an incline, it does go over 7 miles an hour which is plenty fast enough for my running speed. I have only had it 2 days but so far so good. Folding it and unfolding it is easy. It fits nicely in my small office. The display is easy to read and the device pad is perfect for a phone or tablet. The mobile app is just so-so. I really wish they would update it so I could use Face ID to login. It’s a bit loud but it’s been a while since I have been on a treadmill - so I don’t have a good frame of reference. If you’re short on space but want to get your steps in, this is a great choice.
Awesome treadmill. I was looking for a small treadmill to replace an older and bulky one. This is perfect! It fits in the room nicely and the folding feature is ground breaking. Kuddos to this company. The treadmill is well built and very quiet. I have it sitting on a bike mat, and it is like walking/running on clouds. I love this machine. If you are looking for a space saver exercise equipment that delivers what it promises, this is the one. Now that I can have this in the upstairs of my house as opposed to the unfinished basement, I am a lot more inclined to use it on a daily basis. Only thing that is bothering me is thatI am not sure how to change the rotating display from Chinese to English. Hopefully I will get an answer from the seller.
Unfortunately I was in the market for a new treadmill after my Treadly died after only 3 years of light use. Sadly, I was left high & dry by Treadly as my unit had the widespread "E2" error and Treadly customer service said they didn't offer repair or parts for a 3 year old unit. Treadly customer service was very responsive in telling me "no - we can't help you...junk your Treadly and buy a new one. And, no, we won't offer you the trade-up discount from 6 months earlier when your Treadly was working...you're just out of luck". Why would I trade up when I already had an operating treadmill?? Unfathomable. So, despite the above, I still considered a new Treadly because of its compact size, but I surveyed the market and found the WalkingPad. Unfathomable. So, despite the above, I still considered a new Treadly because of its compact size, but I surveyed the market and found the WalkingPad. My requirements were something either small or compactly foldable and something that seemed like it would last for more than 3 years or ~1000 miles.Long story short I am 1 month into my WalkingPad and here's why it is better than the junky Treadly I had previously owned:+Folds up so you can put it completely out of the way against a wall or in a closet. Treadly you had to slide under a couch to get it out of the way, which wasn't very easy to do because a long treadmill requires a lot of space to maneuver it under a couch easily.+Goes actual running speed...WalkingPad get to 7.5mph...Treadly was something like 5.2mph...barely running.+WalkingPad doesn't seem like it is about to self-destruct when I run on it. I'm only 5'9" and 157lb, so not a heavy runner, but the Treadly just sounded stressed and flexed heavily every time I ran on it. Guess it was stressed...it died. And I only run on a treadmill maybe once a week...rest of the time my wife (smaller than I) walks on it.+This is just personal preference I suppose, but I really didn't like Treadly's adaptive speed feature. Always felt like I was yo-yo-ing between too fast and too slow. GREATLY prefer setting my own speed on the WalkingPad.+WalkingPad is WAY quieter. How do I know? TV was always at max volume to hear it when I was on the Treadly. WalkingPad, I'm only about about 60%. Much better for everyone else in the house who has to listen to it as well.Net-net...look at a WalkingPad if you're considering a Treadly.
