Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is pure adrenaline! If you’re a fan of the 40K universe, this game nails the brutal, chaotic feel of the battlefield. The combat is intense, with brutal melee and satisfying ranged attacks, making you feel like an unstoppable force as a Space Marine. The graphics and scale of the battles are insane, and the Tyranids are terrifying to face. For anyone playing WH for the first time

I preordered the game as i was familiar with the lore. Been playing since last friday and what can i say? They have done justice to the characters and the story. The campaign is a masterpice in terms of graphics and character development. I havent played anything similar in yrs. The closest i can describe it to, would be God of War, Gears, and to some degree with helldiver.Even pve/pvp is a work of art, you will be introduced to classes and missions, the coop with others makes all the difference.Just to let you know, its not a soles game...if you are into wargames of sorts, this is it.

Never Pre order though Target...EVER.

The game itself is awesome Target is the one getting the 1/5 stars here. Please buy this game. its a 5/5 stars game for sure. This is the 2nd time Target has dropped the ball with Pre orders for me. FIrst time was with a controller that didnt come to me until 2 weeks after release date... AND NOW THIS ONE. literaly pre ordered for the early accsses and now it says it wont come until MAYBE the 19th... Target is un trustworthy with pre orders and I would not reccamend pre ordering from them again.

Stick w/ ordering from Amazon, BB, & GS

I just brought the game on digital. This is ridiculous, they should’ve closed preorders the minute it was sold out. Esp given the reviews during early access. I originally had this game on preordered on Amazon but Target had an earlier date between the 7th and 10th. I should’ve stuck with Amazon because the Target isn’t coming until the 20th and that is if they get the stock according to 3 Target Customer Service agents. This is ridiculous and when you get the game, it close to the end of month where people are preparing for the Octobers (which is hot with heavy hitters at least 10-13 that heavily talked about for good or bad). This is why I don’t do Target preorders esp on games.

Throwback to good games

Great game, throwback to old school games designed to be ready to go from day one. No battle pass rubbish or paid micro transactions thrown in your face.Story is simple enough and gameplay is fun.Doesn't take long to complete, I finished the campaign in a day but there are PvE missions to complete which will take you another day. I haven't explored PvP yet so can't speak on that.Graphics look great. Some reduced frames at times but honestly overall I think it looks great.Reasonable for the asking price of £45-50

Do not mind the bad reviews this game has, it seems some people had preorders issues with best buy and gave the game a bad review even though the issue was best buy. This game is an absolute gem. The graphics utilize the full power of the serie X, even in performance mode, the rate frame rate is nice and steady and the game looks awesome. My favorite thing is the gameplay, this game is visceral and so much fun! Havent had this much fun with a game since astro bot. In conclusion this is a must have for any fans of 3rd person shooters and fun games in general. A+

[Rewarded Review] I think best buy forgot what Pre-order means

I pre-ordered a copy months in advance and havent heard anything like the other guy that left a review, had the same exact issue but mine says my order will be canceled if i dont receive it by the 19th of September. If you pre-order dosent that secure a copy? Nobody has physical copies in store locally though, Wal-Mart, Target, i didnt check Game Stop because reasons so I'm wondering if there is an issue from the distributor of physical copies. I can sure get one on ebay though for twice as much so someone got their shipments in. Apparently dont pre-order anything anymore because you probably wont get it.

[Rewarded Review] The Game Itself is Worth FIVE STARS

The four-star review is due to the complete mess of its physical hard copy release and digital gift with the prepurchase. But it wasn't just Best Buy; it was a few of their competitors, too. I did purchase a NIB physical copy off of eBay, which arrived safe and sound, but reading Reddit complaints revealed that Best Buy customers weren't the only ones screwed.The game is PHENOMENAL! Nostalgia, old-school Interwebz, great game soundtrack.... So much fun.But in post-2020 when we all now know that the WEF promised us we'd own nothing and be happy, clearly I realize that the gaming industry is on its last legs. Enjoy this while you can.

[Rewarded Review] Why even ore order?

I placed a pre order for the gold edition on February 24th feeling sure that having an order in that early would guarantee a copy. Wrong. First, BB cancelled the pre order bonus on August 30th with no other explanation, then not a peep from them until September 5th at 11pm saying my order was taking longer than expected. I didnt care about getting to play 4 days early, I wanted the metal case and season pass which is actually $10 more expensive now. I have other pre orders with BB that i will keep for now, but this one stings a bit.
