This was really useful for mounting our doorbell on our house. It's great that you can adjust it to get the right angle since our house is sort of at a weird angle in comparison to the street.
This mount was a piece of cake to install and provides an excellent view of our front entryway and the walk in front of our door. I am very happy with this purchase.
We were able to position our doorbell in the best location for our porch setup, and we were able to get a wider view than we would have been able to see without the adjustable mount.
I love this device, because it allows was me to position my camera in anyway that I need to see my surroundings outside my front door
Pros: This item did exactly what it was designed for. It came with everything needed to install.Cons: The main mounting plate that goes on the wall is flimsy. When mounting to stucco it flexes when tightening it down keeping the doorbell plate from reattaching. The whole mount would benefit from being more robust or make the wall plate metal.
This mount achieves its states purpose, to angle the doorbell more than the stock wedge. It can be installed over the stock wedge. It is not as sturdy as the wedge—would only recommend if the stock does not give you the right angle.
It's quick and easy to set up and allows you a lot more angle freedom than the standard angled bracket.
