This is my first water flosser, and I find it very useful. I use it after meals or as an alternative to traditional flossing. While it doesn’t replace regular flossing entirely, I believe that using it once a day in addition to flossing is more effective than relying on either method alone. The device is not very solid quality in my opinion, but good enough quality for its price. After a year of use, the on/off button has become jammed and it is very annoying, though it still functions. Other parts of the flosser continue to work well. The stream strength is adjustable, and the water tank has good capacity. It’s compact, looks cute, and doesn’t take up much space. I love my Waterpic WP-660. It's easy to use, has a large container for water, small enough to put on a bathroom counter and has a massage option to massage your gums. The noise level isn't too bad as some people have complained about. It doesn't bother me. I use it right after I manual floss.I also have the Waterpic Ion which I plan on switching back and fourth between the two every so often. The only negative with the Ion is the on and off switch on the handle is sometimes hard to press. I have noticed some people have mentioned this as well. It could be the result of hard water getting into the switch mechanism. That has not happened with the Waterpic WP-660. Overall I am highly satisfied with the Waterpic WP-660 and would highly recommend this flosser.

I was really skeptical at first because this flosser is smaller and a lighter weight than my husband's older, fairly bulky unit. What it lacks in size, it seems to make up for in power. I do not find it to be too loud. It's not whisper quiet, nor did I expect it to be. The older unit I used was much, much louder. Even though I wear braces, I am able to floss around the brackets with little effort and go around my entire mouth twice if needed. There are a couple areas that use improvement, though:1 - The water reservoir is a little small, despite the unit's power. If I meander too long in an area of my mouth, I risk running out of water (which I have). Not a huge deal but something to think about if you want more water2 - The flosser alert isn't very loud so when ... MoreI was really skeptical at first because this flosser is smaller and a lighter weight than my husband's older, fairly bulky unit. Fantastic Waterpic - A Difference Maker!

I have gone too many years without this device and after trying a battery operated water flosser, I'm really happy to now have an electric Waterpic with wonderful features. I love the coil that automatically wraps up to fit nicely in the holder, the nozzle that is super easy to manuevre in your mouth, and the small footprint of the device on your bathroom counter. Due to prior use of a water flosser, I started at level 8 but newbies would want to start the water flow pressure at a lower level to get used to the water pressure. I like not having to charge the battery like with my travel water flosser and electric is definitely the way to go. It's amazing how much food comes out if your teeth, gums, and mouth, and after every meal I use my water pic to keep my teeth ... MoreI have gone too many years without this device and after trying a battery operated water flosser, I'm really happy to now have an electric Waterpic with wonderful features. Good Water Flosser
17 January 2024

This is a good quality water flosser. It has multiple settings, is easy to use and you receive a variety of attachments. I hope they find a way to incorporate a water warmer into the device. Flossing with ice cold water that has been sitting in the reservoir during the winter months is not a good filling. It is too much of a hassle to warm the water and fill withe each use. Overall, the look of the device is nice. It doesn't have an excessive amount of buttons. It is user friendly. The attachments are easily removable. I would also recommend they provide a longer cord for the hand held flosser since it is attached to the device. Someone 4 foot tall wouldn't have an issue but for taller folks, you. must slump over the sink to use it. Our next purchase will be for the ... MoreThis is a good quality water flosser. Inadequate water reservoir capacity is annoying
6 May 2024

While this product works fine, I'm bothered by a basic design flaw highlighted by one of its features. The water reservoir capacity is inadequate to devote the recommended time to your full mouth. The device pauses to alert you when it's time to switch to another quadrant of your mouth, but will only do so twice in a cycle, presumably because the reservoir capacity will be depleted before the fourth quarter can be completed, even on a relatively low setting. This means I end up filling it partway for one half of my mouth, then turning it off for a refill in order to restart on the other half. Again, it works just fine, but it's annoying that I have to go through the cycle twice when a minor increase in reservoir capacity would have prevented it. I like this model's covered storage area for the tips in use, but there's nowhere to store the other extra tips.

Outstanding Performance
12 November 2024

I am very pleasantly surprised with this product. I’ve never owned a Waterpik before of any kind so I can’t compare it to others. I love that you can change the pressure of the water stream! I have a couple of teeth where there is a little gap between them and this works so much better than floss to flush out all the debris in between my teeth!! I have 2 implants, so I am appreciative of the fact that they include a tip specifically for implants. In the directions provided it spells out what setting the Waterpik pressure should be set to. I have not tried the “massage” setting yet, but I hope to soon. I wish I had known how well Waterpiks worked a long time ago!!

Pretty good, not perfect
24 April 2024

It's quite a neat little contraption that does leave your teeth feeling better. It feels really good to get all those stray bits of food out from between your teeth after eating. My main nitpick over what I would love to improve is somewhere MUCH better space to store the 2 mouth bits. Currently the slots provided are under the lid but behind the water tank. You either have to lift out the water tank every time you want to retrieve or put away the bit. Really annoying and it's almost impossible to not touch the other person's mouth tip while you're doing this. So not exactly hygenic. My husband and I share this machine and it is a challenge to efficiently switch pieces to the one you want to use. There has to be a better way. And my thumb keeps finding the button for unlocking the mouth tip instead, I think becasue it's easier to operate!

REALLY DOES A GREAT JOB GETTING MY MOUTH CLEAN
6 March 2024

Recently at a tooth cleaning, my dentist and his assistant both recommended that I get a Waterpik to help keep my gums and teeth healthy. I have only had the Waterpik about 3 weeks. It gets stuff out that both my flossing and my brushing have missed. I have varied the order in which I use the brush, floss and Waterpik, and it is amazing how well floss/pik/brush works. I like it a lot! One feature could be improved. The handle of the Waterpik has two switches, one to release the spray head and one to turn the water off. Several times I used the wrong switch to turn it off. Since the shape of the handle is oval, the wrong button, normally under my thumb when I hold the handle, is easier to use. Moving the spray on/off button to the side would mean that I wouldn't have ... MoreRecently at a tooth cleaning, my dentist and his assistant both recommended that I get a Waterpik to help keep my gums and teeth healthy. If you changed the design, left-handed users could just turn the handle over to put the button under their thumb!

LOVE this product because of what it DOES. After one month of use it wouldn't run anymore. I went online and did the live chat and problem was quickly solved. I needed to clean the tip with 50/50 water and white vinegar, which I do with other water-use appliances. That did the trick. I appreciate the quick response. We also ordered extra tips so family members can use it. They are color-coded for an easy visual, which I also appreciate. As with many bathroom items, this one competes with others for the too-few electrical outlets. But it fits nicely in the corner, awaiting its turn to be plugged in. It is designed so the "water cable" fits inside the unit and doesn't create clutter in the corner.
