I got this through a work store and I was extremely happy when I got it. Worked fine the first month using it only at night then one morning I go to turn after eating some meat and nothing. I’m giving it 4 stars for performance because when it worked it did its job well but for one month. Replaced batteries, checked to see if it was wet or damaged, only used water, and nothing. Products should not break one month into using it when you did absolutely nothing to cause it. Don’t waste your money and buy one with a reservoir. This product should be discontinued and everyone should have their money returned who bought it.

I loved this product, easy to use and made a huge difference in my dental hygiene. The first time the batteries died, I replaced them as required, and that’s where the trouble began. Immediately the tool seemed to malfunction, spraying water with incredible force. It was not safe to use on my gums. I contacted Waterpik for help, and their amazing team sent me a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement (the 2nd version) malfunctioned the same way as the first. The tool works wonderfully, if it isn’t malfunctioning. I’m super bummed. I really need the same kind of tool so I’m hoping one of the countertop models won’t short out on me!

I purchased the cordless Waterpik from my Dentist. After using it for 1 month, I can say that my teeth are much more cleaner than could ever be achieved by using a toothbrush. My gums have stopped bleeding & hurting. The spaces between my dental bridges & gumlines are no longer filled with food particles. I'm pleased with this purchase.

New to Water Pik, so far so good
14 October 2021

This is my first time using a Water Pik. This model is compact but requires me to refill the "tank" 3-4x in order to go over every surface. Despite that, this is still faster than traditional flossing, and it feels cleaner. I guess I will find out at my next dental appointment. Overall, it has been a good experience so far.

Nice travel Waterpik! Great for my new bridge!
4 January 2023

Works just fine, but since it is a travel size, the reservoir only holds a little water. I have to refill at least once to make sure I get all my teeth cleaned. Not much they can do since it is a travel size though. Just wanted to let people know in case they want a larger reservoir for home use.

No cord. No bulk. Use it in the shower: No Mess
27 May 2017

"Cordless" means 3 AA batteries which lasted longer than I expected considering it's quite the mechanical pumping operation going on (a month and a half). You can tell when the batteries are getting weak as the pulse speed slows and the power notably weakens. I have not tried and do not know if rechargeable AAs will work in this unit. Cordless also means there's no hose connecting the unit to a bulky reservoir taking up precious bathroom counter space - but a bulkier self-contained, hand-held unit with built in reservoir. The high power setting is quite a blast and may be too much for some, or at least your gums may require a few days to acclimate at the lower setting first as did mine. If you use the high power setting and don't move with some speed, you may need ... More"Cordless" means 3 AA batteries which lasted longer than I expected considering it's quite the mechanical pumping operation going on (a month and a half). The high power setting is quite a blast and may be too much for some, or at least your gums may require a few days to acclimate at the lower setting first as did mine. If you use the high power setting and don't move with some speed, you may need to refill before finishing a full upper and lower, back and front blast, but regardless, it seems to be effective. Water flossers are generally messy, splattering water and loosened food particles all over bathroom sink and mirror. The greatest bonus of this model is that you can use it in the shower where splatter "don't" matter and your oral excavations just go down the drain. Note: fill 'er up with hot water from sink or tub before starting shower. It's a pain to fill the reservoir from shower spray (or at least it is from whatever setting our shower head is on). Note also while the cordless frees you from the comparative bulk of a counter-top model with it's electric cord and hose connecting the hand-held to the reservoir (this is a BIG bonus in our virtually-no-counter space bathroom), it may be too tall to fit in many medicine cabinets with the head attached with the roughly 2" head attached, which makes it just about 1' tall. Without the Pik head attachment, the unit stands at just under 10 inches tall, a fraction shorter than our electric toothbrush. The unit comes with several interchangeable head attachments, which easily detach with the press of a button. I keep mine on top shelf of a shower caddy, so height is not a problem. Recommended by my dental hygienist to help compensate for my slack flossing habits, I hope to report improved oral health and hygiene at my next dental cleaning. All in all, I'm quite satisfied with product and performance.

Waterpik cordless water flosser
18 August 2017

I already had a re-chargeable Waterpik but needced a 2nd one as I split my week between 2 locations and was fed up carrying it back and forth. Majority of branded water flossers were circa 60 so was a little sceptical that this would do the job for such an inexpensive price of just 20. However decided to take a chance - and am so glad I did. The retailer delivered well ahead of expected timescale, it was exactly as described and perfectly packaged. I love the fact that there is no charging required. The convenience of the battery operated water flosser is even better than the original flosser I already had. It's lighter than the re-chareable version although just as strong and durable. Given the choice I would swap to 2 of this version - neater, lighter and easier to use. I highly recommend to anyone considering purchasing a water flosser - the cordless Waterpik is an ideal purchase.

Worked great, for a few months
21 February 2023

When it was new, worked great. It did not keep water out, as batteries became corroded. Even when cleaned and directions followed, it slowed down gradually until.stopped working. Used this product for less than 1 year, maybe 6 months before completely unusable. Would NOT recommend this particular Waterpik product.

Works as advertised
13 March 2019

Overall it works great and is easy to use, but there are some drawbacks. The battery is the biggest outlier, since it needs an odd number of cells that you need to provide yourself and there's no charger. So far, it doesn't seem this really takes up that much power, but for how expensive this product typically is, I would expect a charger. I also would prefer a toggle button rather than a switch to turn it on, and, I think the switch would make more sense on the opposite side of the device. Your mouth fills up with water pretty fast and if you just drool like Waterpik implies you should do, you drool all over the device. This could be easily fixed with a push-button where it only applies the jet when you're ready Other than those 2 things, this works very well. It works better than classical floss, using it doesn't hurt, it's faster to use, and the water tank it provides is sufficient for everyday use. I'd recommend getting one of the newer models, which seem to address my issues.

Wouldn’t use anything else!
2 October 2022

This Waterpik is a lifesaver for me! I have a small mouth so several of my teeth are very close together or even partially crossed over one another. This always resulted in dental floss shredding or breaking. It made me hate to floss. But with my Waterpik it’s a whole new experience for me. I can “floss” my teeth so much easier and I can feel that they are much cleaner. And being able to get under the gum all the way around my teeth instead of just in between them is such a plus for good oral hygiene.
