Cleaner teeth, and Wisdom Teeth

This thing is powerful! The attachments and overall tool are very good at working food caught in your mouth out. It's to be expected, but it can cause some comfort issues around the house. I can't use mine while my wife is sleeping.Overall very happy with the product as many more are.

I had mine for about 3-5 years, I can't remember, but I stopped using it when my dentist recommended using floss instead, until I can get my braces in. I stopped using it for 2 years, & I would regularly clean it out with vinegar water, until I got an awful & huge tonsil stone. I tried using it to flush it out, but then the pressure button got stuck inside of the handle. I could only get it free again by lightly tapping onto it, until well... You guessed it, I heard the spring on the inside snap. Plastic junk made the entire unit useless. Avoid this junk & buy something from Philips or Oral-B instead!

I purchased this after using a battery powered Waterpik for a couple of years. The battery finally wouldn't hold a charge and can't be (easily) replaced. I didn't buy that one (my wife did), but I hate that the battery can't be replaced, making the whole thing useless junk. This, however, is a great unit. It's way more powerful with an adjustable setting and a bunch of different heads you can use. I only use the basic one and I've only used it at somewhere between 5-6 setting (out of 10). It's *way* more powerful than the battery one ever was and should last a lot longer without the battery to worry about. The footprint it takes up is a bit larger (it's wider than the battery one, but shorter), but it's not really a problem so as long as you have at least a little ... MoreI purchased this after using a battery powered Waterpik for a couple of years. As long as it lasts, I'm good. Really wish we had just bought this one in the first place, but lesson learned. I'd definitely recommend this if you're in the market for a water flosser.

I have mixed feelings about this product, but keep coming back to it,as at the end of the day, it does the job. Funny thing is,my dental hygienist is a dyed in the wool string flossing believer, while I have found peer reviewed studies showing that water flossing is a bit better than string flossing. Having said that, the hygienist has told me NOT to stop using my water flosser,as my gums are in great shape for a senior! The biggest complaint I have is that over time,Waterpik flossers tend to leak, and that is the problem with my current unit. In summary, if my hygienist is happy with my oral health,I will continue to buy Waterpik!

After 3 weeks of having this water flosser I would recommend it to anyone! This larger model is the perfect size—it doesn’t take up too much space on the counter of our small bathroom but holds a large amount of water. I also like how compact and economical this model is, all the extra brush heads fit in a secret compartment above the water tank and, even though this model is wired, the wire tucks nicely into the machine behind the handle when not in use. As far as noise is concerned, yes, it is louder than your average mechanical toothbrush but I personally have zero complaints about it. The sound is not excessive, plus, my dentist recommended only using it for 30 seconds a day, so keep that in mind when you see comments complaining about the noise. Take that gingivitis!

I recently purchased the Waterpik Ultra Countertop Water Flosser Oral Irrigator in black, and unfortunately, I have to say that I'm not particularly impressed with it.First and foremost, the size of the device is quite small. While this may be a positive for those who have limited counter space, I found it to be a bit awkward to use. Additionally, the water reservoir is quite small, and I often found myself needing to refill it multiple times during one flossing session. The noise level of the device is also a bit of a downside. It's fairly loud and can be distracting if you're trying to use it while someone else is in the room. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's definitely something to be aware of.Finally, the pressure of the water stream is disappointingly low. ... MoreI recently purchased the Waterpik Ultra Countertop Water Flosser Oral Irrigator in black, and unfortunately, I have to say that I'm not particularly impressed with it.First and foremost, the size of the device is quite small. While it may work for some people, I found it to be too small, too loud, and not powerful enough to effectively clean my teeth and gums. I would recommend looking for other options with better performance and higher water pressure.

I am not a dental floss user. BUT I have used a Waterpik reservoir flosser since 1995 when I lived in Fort Collins, Colorado and purchased my first Waterpik directly from the Manufacturer. Way too noisy!

Like that it starts at a lower PSI (water pressure) than some other models. But that's where the like ends. Main dislike is the noise. It is way too loud. Can't use it in the morning if there's someone else sleeping either in the same bedroom or the next one over. And if you're the sort of person who doesn't want loud noises intruding upon your drowsiness just before bedtime, this will bring you back to wide awake. The other dislike is they include all these extra really niche attachments that most people will never use but not an alternate standard one which a larger diameter hole where the water comes out. For me (and others I know) we find the stream of water coming out the standard attachment to be a bit too thin and needle-like. First off, I want to say there's a learning curve with these if you've never used one before. (I hadn't) The curve comes from how to spray it in your mouth so it won't spray all over your bathroom. Watching some youtube videos helped me witht that. What the videos didn't cover (and nobody tells you) is that if you're doing the inner part of your teeth and you overshoot and the water hits the inside of your cheek, you could feel a "pinch" of the water piercing it (and mine was NOT on full blast). This made a sore with a scab that took about a week to go away when I did multiple salt water rinses each day. Anyhow--that flosser lasted around 3 weeks before it stopped working. I was instructed to return it at my local Target. They let me swap it for another one since I ... MoreFirst off, I want to say there's a learning curve with these if you've never used one before. I was instructed to return it at my local Target. They let me swap it for another one since I figured I just got a lemon and that it was a fluke. Well the second one I got lasted a total of 10 days before it was going out. Ughhh. Had to haul it down there and get refunded again. I will be finding a different brand to use next time if possible. At least the store refunded my money for the protection plan too. Target was great at making this good for me again and I appreciate that, but this product was NOT good.
