Ok, so I am obsessed with baby wipes for a clean booty but after 20 years of using regular baby wipes I became allergic, it would break me out in rash and bother my hemorrhoids. Sorry TMI... I've tried hypoallergenic ones that don't contain alcohol and they still break me out in rash and make me bleed after a few uses. Anyways I was offered to test these and since they only have 2 ingredients I thought I'd give them a try. They were very gentle and nice feeling. They are non scented and very durable. I reused them to see how much it would take and they are very sturdy. They rip after a couple uses but that’s pretty good considering some wipes rip on the first swipe. They also don’t leave behind little hairs or fibers until after some uses. So that’s good if you just use these one time and dispose of them like for babies. I don’t have babies but I do have toddlers who tried them when going to the bathroom and were good for that. If my son happens to put one in his mouth I don’t feel nervous or scared about what is entering his body. They really do just feel like a wet wipe moistened with water, they do a good job cleaning. My only complaint is the packaging. It is a little difficult to pull the wipes out. This can make cleaning up a messy bowel movement stressful because I feel like I couldn’t grab the wipes out quick enough to clean while my 8 month old was rolling away from me. I have been a huge fan of the original WaterWipes as my pediatrician is not a fan of any baby wipes but these are 99.9% water so I figured they would be ok. They have been working out great for me, so I ordered in bulk to restock. When opening the boxes to put them away, my MIL noticed the difference in packaging. I read the labels and it seemed like the only difference was the size of the new bags and that the wipes were biodegradable. Great, I thought, better for the environment. In the wee hours of the morning, during a diaper change, the wipes in my warmer ran out. So I snagged one of the new and one of the old packages to refill it. I popped the OG in first, then opened the new one and man oh man did I get a whiff of something foul! I will be using dry cotton wipes (Honest Brand) and adding sterile water to them myself until WaterWipes corrects this atrocious misstep.
