Replaced 2 of my older WD that both died within 10 hours of each other after 6 years of use in NAS, luckily managed to salvage all important data. Hope this product will be more reliable.

Great disks - using in my Synology NAS. changing from RED and RED plus as these are finally priced more reasonably.
Please if you buy a Synology Nas always check the compatibility of the HD.I bought the standard Red 4TB and they aren't compatible. The Plus and Pro are compatible.
Noisy, makes thumping/clicking sound in regular intervals, it's the only component in pc build that makes noise
