I've recently replaced a 2TB SN750 (which was full) with a 4TB SN700 in a MacBook Pro 2015 15".Pros: 4TB - It's big and the price is good, and I've only had good experiences with WD ssds.Cons: Blackmagic write speeds aren't what I'd hoped. Read speed is fine.Overall, I'd give it 4 1/2 stars - wish it was faster, but given the price and the age of the computer this was the sweet spot. I do recommend it, but don't expect the speed of an SN750 or SN850.Totally blows a SATA drive out of the water, though.

This disk is a really good and fast SSD disk. Also it has 5100 TBW which is about 10 times more than the others, so you can use it much more intensively and longer !Performances are the following with a Dell Inspiron 7306 laptop:Specification - Tested:Read seq 8Q (MB/s): 3400 - 3388Write seq 8Q (MB/s): 3100 - 3090Read IO (IOPS): 550'000 - 146'000Write IO (IOPS): 520'000 - 116'000For manual file copy, this is the result : 1560 / 2090 MB/s R/W.This is much more than other 2TB drives that have only 1200 / 1300 MB/s.We can see that it is very close to the specification with Crystal Disk Mark. I am not sure if Galaxus is being crooks or being incompetent but they sent SA500 with SN700 stickers on them. Twice in a row! Slowing down my work by at least one week.

Just tested it yesterday. Working well - black magic app speed test ran and tests confirm specs. Cannot speak to longevity yet so Quality rating of 5 stars is my optimism. Using this in an OWC Envoy Pro SX portable storage unit for Time Machine backup.
With its NVMe interface and PCIe Gen4 support, it provides exceptional speed and responsiveness, enabling quick data transfers and efficient file access within my NAS environment. Its optimized firmware and endurance features ensure reliable and durable operation, even under heavy workloads commonly found in NAS setups
It's hard to rate something that's thrown into a Proxmox server and for the most part forgotten about. The fact that I don't have to think about it says it all. I'm able to install virtual machines, run them 24/7, and automate backups without an issue. I'm still an amateur with Proxmox, but it's been going strong for a few months now, with no issues to report. I did benchmark it Windows before installing Proxmox, but it's running in a Z97 system at PCIe X2. It performed well, but did not reach advertised speeds because of the bottleneck. I initially purchased this to start a Nextcloud instance, and tried a few different ways until I found it was easier to run in a virtual machine.
Easy to install and solid performance so far. I purchased this as an extra harddrive for my laptop and I'm extremely happy with it. It is fast and truly a great drive.
however it was a tight fit in the M.2 connector, not sure why that could be. It went in, but it's not comfortable insert/remove.. Otherwise, it's NVMe, it beats an SMR hard disk for boot 1000 times over.
Fast. Under 100% recording load, the temperature is stable 59 °C in a laptop without a pressure plate and radiator. 5 years warranty. The system loads in seconds. The work in the swap file, when the PC goes beyond 8GB of RAM, is not felt.
Great NVME for Channels DVR. After calculating Channels usage of 4.4GB per hour into 2PB I learned that the SN700 should be good for 454545 hours of recording or about 50 years of recording. I have found that access times are exceptional. Prior to this I had used HDDs for this purpose with my Mac Mini M2.
