We started riding mountain bikes as a way to stay active and soon found that maintaining the bike chains was the hardest part of the activity. Being on the dirt trails for hours can make for chain troubles, and then riding isn't fun. WD-40 is perfect for mountain-biking, as it has been a wonder toward keeping the bike chains riding smooth. I've found that WD-40 Bike Dry Chain Lube goes on vey easy with the convenient tip, and it dries fast, so that I can get back out to biking without worrying about dirt or dust caking on the chain. I recommend any dirt or dust trail rider to put this in their bike maintenance bag.

Since purchasing my first mountain bike a year ago, I've quickly come to realize the importance of a high quality chain lube. I've used quite a few brands so far and this WD-40 chain lube is my favorite. I enjoy riding in the winter, but regular snows cause plenty of wet and muddy conditions. This is the first chain lube that I've found that works great in both of these conditions. I apply before my ride on a clean chain and get back home with the chain looking great. It really does seem to repel most (if not all) of the mud and water. I haven't used this much in dry conditions, so not sure how it would work there, but am beyond pleased with the performance in wet muddy conditions. Great quality as I've come to expect with WD-40.

The WD-40 Wet Chain Lubricant has already exceeded my expectations on how well it. My family and I do a great deal of biking and our bike chains get very dirty and dried up from all the dirt and mud that builds up on our bike chains each time we ride on our favorite bike trails. I have purchased many bike chains the last few years because it seemed no bike lubricants worked until I received WD-40’s bike lubricant. I have have been putting the WD-40 lubricant on our bike about ever 4-5 times we ride and it’s doing an excellent job in protecting them, I am sure I am using it a little to much. I highly recommend WD-40 Bike Lubricant!

I finally pulled my bike out of winter storage to get it ready for warm riding. I am not a professional cyclist, and I found it very easy to use. After washing and drying the bike simply apply the lubricant to each of the links. A little goes a long way! If your chain is severely dry you may need to add a second coat. When I did my inspection after my first ride the chain was still clean as before! This lubricant does an excellent job of keeping my chain clean and debris free. I enjoyed a smooth ride with no kinks or hesitation in the chain.
I want a simple lube for my bike chains, and this did just the trick.So far I used it on my indoor trainer, and plan on using it on my other bikes come the spring time. The applicator is good, the lube is good, the price is good. all over you can't go wrong.my only complaint was that i expected there to be a seal when i twisted off the cap and there wasn't one. the oil spilled out onto my hands and pants. I had the bottle right side up and wasn't squeezing it. I think that the bottle is filled to the max and spilled out.
Well, I had originally chosen this lube for my motorcycle chain (yes, I do ride in the winter if the roads permit) but I have not found any literature suggesting this product for that use, specifically. I can't speak to whether or not it is recommended for a motorcycle, but I ended up gifting this bottle to my friend, who happens to be an avid, year round pedal cyclist who was very happy to try it! He was pleased to say that in wet and lightly snowy conditions it worked as intended, with 0 hiccups. If it is good enough for him, it should be good enough for anyone. If your use for this product is on a pedal bike, either on-road or off-road, I am quite sure that it will work very well for you. Would certainly recommend.
Bought it for the motorcycle chain, the applicator works fine, the oil is thin enough it crawls between the links.Use gloves or be prepared to wash your hands 3 or 4 times so that the cologne smell doesn't ruin your next meal.I'm amazed not many other reviews seem to have caught this issue.
For some inane reason, the WD40 company decided that this chain lube should smell like cheap, dollar store perfume, and the scent is VERY strong. I got some on my hands, and spent 10 minutes with a scrub brush trying to get rid of the terrible scent. I prefer chain lube that smells like chain lube, so this one gets a big NO from me.
Most trusted name in the lubricant industry lives up to its name. Ran the bike through puddles, and the lube stayed on through several rides, and kept the bike running smoothly. I like the easy to apply, small bottle size and the lid stays secure so you can put it in your pocket or in your pack, and it's not going to leak.Used sparingly along the chain and it was very effective. Could tell an ease-of-pedaling difference. I like to keep my chain somewhat on the dry side, and just apply the WD a little every so often. Doesn't need much.I actually plan to try this on my hedge trimmers in my lawncare business. I use regular WD-40, but this may actually work even better.I would strongly recommend it to anyone.
This dry chain lubricant works great! It's easy to put on, it comes out slowly with a slight squeeze and you slowly spin your tire to make you chain spin. Once you're done with the chain you spin it a few times to get the excess lube off. It repeals dirt and dust and keeps my bike running smooth. I like to ride my bike at the beach and this really keeps the sand out! This should be something people do often for maintenance to prolong the life of your bike.
