The cover reliably protects the grill and shortens the cleaning time after prolonged non-use. The material allows air to pass freely. This prevents moisture from accumulating under the cover and provides reliable protection against sun, rain and snow. Suitable for Genesis SPX/E/S 435 and Genesis 400 series gas grills.

I want to rate this a 3.5, but went with 4 stars without that option. This is the 3rd Weber Performer Pro I've purchased over the last 20 years and I love them! This one came with a round, removable area in the center of the cooking grate to insert bowls or other Weber attachments (available for additional purchase, of course). But I have found that when wire brushing the grate the center piece falls into the coals, which is very frustrating. So much so that after 2 cooks I purchased a regular grate with just the side flaps to add coals.Additionally, upon initial build, one of the 6 nutplates to secure the table had a spinning nutplate and the screw could not be fully installed. Initially they told me I had to buy a replacement part for ~$100. I love this grill and the way it cooks. I have plenty of room to cook. The grill gets hot quick. Really like the built in thermometer.Assembly was quick and the directions very clear.Three bad points:- Why does a $1,300 grill have plastic knobs? Weber really cheeped out here.- I paid extra for the grill to be delivered and placed in the backyard (400lb grill), have it unpacked, and the packaging removed, they left it in the driveway.- Home Depot forgot the second part of the delivery which was the cover.

Only one fixing strap on the entire cover to secure one leg. First gust of wind - the entire cover lifts off and flops in a sodden heap on the ground. Leaving the BBQ exposed to the weather. Put it back on, blows off - repeat. In the end had to buy a long strap to wrap round it to keep it in place. For this extortionate price of nearly £93 (for a bit of plastic let's be honest) surely Weber could have run to one more strap, or - imagine this - one for each leg?Very disappointing product for the price. Stingy production design makes this expensive item unfit for purpose.

I have owned a weber premium kettle grill for many years. In addition to typical grill food we also make pizzas, stuffed chicken breasts and smoke many meats and fishes with the kettle.I have replaced the grill and charcoal racks several times in addition to the clean out paddle assembly.I was excited to finally get a fitted Weber cover for the grill which I had hoped would extend the life. I installed the cover immediately upon receipt and attached the velcro strap around the leg as needed. Unfortunately during the first time I put it on we experienced a wind storm over night and when I checked on it the next morning I found the cover had blown off and was tangled in a shrub nearby, the charcoal bin was open and the charcoal was wet from rain.I would like to ... MoreI have owned a weber premium kettle grill for many years. I’ve owned this cover for about a year and bought it as a replacement for the original one I bought 20 years ago. The original one weathered many Midwest rain and ice storms, and finally was getting some small tears in it. I assumed this cover would be similar in construction to the original one, but it is much much lighter and made of much thinner material. Even though it has a Velcro strap on one leg to keep it attached, the back of the cover continuously blows up in even a small amount of wind. I keep a 2 x 4 on top of it as well as landscaping block, but you can see what happened. The front part of the cover is still velcro’d, on the leg, on the backside of the grill. If you have any wind at all, this is not the cover for you. If you have any wind at all, this is not the cover for you. I am a Weberman through and through and own, at least 10 of their products, but this grow covers sucks. The Genesis cover next to it at least has an excuse, because it is about 10 years old at this point.
This is the third Weber cover I've purchased for this grill. The first two were high quality, heavy duty and never budged even when a tornado went through 1/2 block from our house. I just purchased this new one and the quality does not compare to the others. It's not nearly as heavy duty and it's blown off 3 times already in the slightest of wind. These things are NOT cheap. So disappointed. Love my grill but HATE THIS COVER!! JUNK!!
The fabric seems to be thinner than previous covers , our cover for our kettle has the inner liner part of the fabric where this premium seems to have a inner liner not attached . The cover has proven acceptable in our recent rains , no moisture coming thru the cover . It has gone tru two high wind events with no issues. The two straps secure it and it does have a nice form to not allow the air to get under and blow around. It goes on easy . but can be cumbersome in low light by yourself. We use our Grill every day sometimes twice in a day , most of the time this cover is just stowed and only comes out when rain is predicated. For me its kinda a pain on and off everyday , but for long term it will be a keeper.
I was immediately skeptical of the weight of this cover but I figured it was just a higher quality material like the Weber Summit itself…it’s not. It’s not heavy enough to stay on the grill in any kind of wind, which is why they provide the velcro straps but they are a pain to fasten and unfasten many times when it rains. The fasteners are so low and awkward. Don’t try doing just one side either because it will still blow off, it just stayed attached so at least it won’t blow away. It finally gave way recently when it blew off because I only fastened one side, then froze to the concrete and ripped when I tried to pick it up off the ground. I love my Weber Summit but I’m going to look for a better quality generic replacement.
I have grilled on Weber Performer grills almost exclusively for 30 years and used generic grill covers until about 3 months ago when I ordered a new performer for a new house. When the cover stays on it has excellent coverage and keeps drizzle and light snow off the grill. However, in even light winds the cover ends up on my patio with the single strap still securely fastened to a leg. This makes the grill cover completely useless for even minor storms or wind. It would cost Weber maybe a couple dollars to sew in a second strap diagonally from the existing one and this would go from a 1 star product to a 5 star product.
Nice to have the opportunity to tell you about my situation. Several years ago I purchased 2 covers for my grill from Weber. I opened one and, try as I might, I couldn't get it to fit. I called Weber multiple times and talked with agents at the time only to be told that I had the only cover made for my grill. As a result, I had to cut a slip all the way up the end of the grill cover and hold it together with duck tape so there was some protection for my grill. My brother came over a month ago and asked "what the heck is this? Can't you get a cover that fits? So, I went into storage and brought out the 2nd cover I had bought and it works perfectly. This leads me to believe that the wrong grill cover was inserted into the first box I received. I really do believe that ... MoreNice to have the opportunity to tell you about my situation. I really do believe that I deserve a credit, either in dollars or in the receipt of a free grill cover, to make up for this mess.
