Weber Spirit Premium Cover (Spirit II / 300 Series)

I have had a Weber Genesis Silver BBQ with cover for over 20yrs. The cover is now very worn but it has had hot summers and cold Wisconsin winters. Granted it is under an awning but the thick quality material is durable. This new cover for my new Spirit at my second home in Texas is garbage. No better than others you can order from China that cost half as much. I was so impressed with my new Weber Spirit BBQ and remarked to my wife "finally a U.S. company (Weber) that continues to make a quality product that is the very best in the world". No so with the cover. Paper thin that won't last....not up to Weber standards and does not deserve the brand!

Big Disappointment

I thought I purchased a genuine Weber 7130 grill cover. The item delivered appeared may be a return as it was refolded so the box was bulging and the box was retaped shut. The box appears genuine. The Weber logo on the grill cover appears genuine. But the grill cover, compared to the 11 years old one it is replacing, is markedly inferior. The fabric is much thinner so it weighs about half as much, to where it flaps ineven very light breeze where the old one hung quietly. The old one fit like a glove. This one fits like a mumu that's three sizes too big. Even with the straps all the way tight, it appears it may blow off. Did Weber really completely give up on quality? Or is this a counterfeit? Big disappointment.

Great Customer Service

I purchased a Weber Grill Cover from Wayfair for the Genesis II 3 series grill. I just recently purchased a Genesis S335 3 burner; the description of the cover stated it fit the Genesis 3 series burner. Much to my dismay the cover did not fit. I wrote a review on weber's page giving them an unsatisfactory rating because it did not fit -- Weber Customer service contacted me within 1 day to explain that the cover i purchased was for their older genesis model and then directed me to the correct cover i need. Thank you to Weber for being "on top of your ratings" and the quick response to direct me to the correct cover! Their grills are excellent products as well...been a user of their brand for many years.

It's a grill cover

It's lightweight which might be good or might be bad. Good because easy to put on. Bad if it affects durability. I read a lot of reviews of less expensive grill covers with some people liking them and some people hating them. I finally just thought well Weber knows a thing or two about barbecue grills so maybe they designed a good grill cover and I bought this one. I will say one thing. I have run the experiment of having no grill cover and that is a disaster. If you don't religiously use your grill cover your grill will deteriorate at least three times faster. So if you don't get this one get some other one and as long as it doesn't have huge gashes and holes keep using it. More expensive and cheaper material

I bought one of these covers 2 years ago when I bought my Spirit E-330 grill. It was durable and still looked brand new after 2 years out in the elements.A couple weeks ago we had some crazy high winds that blew over my grill on my deck. When the grill was knocked over the cover was torn so I needed to replace it.I ordered a new one, same part number, and I just opened up the box and the material is significantly cheaper than the previous cover. It's easily 50% thinner and feels like a cheap windbreaker material. Even in the house my wife could see how flimsy it looked compared to the original one. Premium Gas Grill Cover for Weber

With no garage or shed where I live, I am reliant on tarps and covers, so I pay attention. Most show their true colors after juat one season. Usually by becoming brittle and cracking or having the retaining method fail and blowing off in the wind. With my cover having gone through it's first winter, it's proven itself. It has wide velcro straps that allow you to sinch the cover tight around the base of the grill. It never blew off the grill. Not even in heavy wind storms. The Weber brand cover I used did'nt hold as well and ca'nt make that claim. The material shows no signs of stiffening. The material seems just as pliable as when I put in on. There is no tearing or cracking. A basic cover is usually in tatters after just one season. Thanks for replacing my old cover

I was pleasantly surprised that when I wrote a comment about the Velcro wearing out on my 3 1/2 year-old grill cover, Weber customer service contacted me offering a replacement, even though it was out-of-warrany. The old cover was blowing off in high winds. Giovanna was great to work with and the new cover arrived quickly (see photo). I do share the concern of others that the new cover is not made of as heavy a fabric as the old model, but time will tell if it holds up.Having received lots of comments from friends about the great condition of my Weber Grill, I do know that the Weber Grill cover plays a big role as well as that great Weber Grill brush.

The gloves.

The wording on the site is ambiguous. I used these last night to move a tin of potatoes from the kettle to the kitchen a short distance. My fingers were starting to feel very uncomfortable from the heat.They are sticky to put on as there is no lining.I'm very unhappy with them and the retailer has said they are not meant for moving hot tins though this is not mentioned on the description. My wife bought them on the understanding that they were suitable for moving all the kit and is like wise unhappy.Sorry Weber, your gear in general is good but these gloves are a failure.

Unbelievably dysfunctional product

I bought this cover to replace my 3 year old cover that got damaged. I read the reviews first and thought c'mon, how bad can it be? REALLY bad, that's how bad. Naturally it was a significantly thinner material, but that's not the worst.This cover has two long loose velcro strips that dangle on either side toward the middle of the grill, one male one female, and that's it, nothing on the bottom. The idea is to connect the two strips on the sides, which in itself is an exercise in frustration considering they are feet long loose dangling strips you have to match up. But then the games begin. You have two choices - either leave it loose so it at least falls on the bottom of the grill in which case the cover flies off in the wind, or tighten it to keep it on which ... MoreI bought this cover to replace my 3 year old cover that got damaged. Very lightweight in a bad way

Just received the cover and after putting it on my weber genesis II e-310 my immediate first impression isPROS (Somewhat) :- Fits great except a bit too shortCONS:- Extremely lightweight in a very bad way- The weight makes it hard to put on, like wrapping the grill in a heavy plastic bag-Velcro straps are high up and with the short coverage I would guess a strong wind could carry it away with Velcro fastened-Doesn't appear durable at allClaims to be a premium grill cover but considering how thin it is, not likely to resist water. In the future please use a heavier material and if possible consider adding a layer of waterproof material for the top of the cover. Your products are great don't skimp on the cover.
