Weber Traveler Compact

The Weber Traveler Compact Portable Gas Grill is an amazing item for those in the market for a quick solution; tailgating, camping, or extra space for an at-home BBQ. As expected, this is yet another Weber product displaying high quality materials especially in the form of their grates. I do think the lid of the item could be a little heavier duty and only time will tell how long it lasts. The extra special feature of this is the assembly from portable mode to grill use. It does use the small propane containers which is great but you could also buy an extender piece and use a regular sized tank for longer cooking times. I would also suggest that if you intend to use this you prepare your vehicle (assuming it’s not a truck) to include a tarp to catch any dirt, debris, or food particles from the catching tray. From a functionality perspective it is awesome and up to the Weber quality I’m used too (have had an electric Q and now have a Spirit Genesis 210). It’s easy to use and also cooks the food well. I would however not imagine it works well in super cold weather (see lid). Overall, I think this is a really impressive item and has so many different use cases for daily life as well as travel. I love this grill! I was so happy and excited when getting this product! I love going camping and this is perfect for travel. It folds up for easy travel. Also it has wheels so you can move it around easily. It comes with all the accessories you need for cooking and it is the perfect size as well. It's a reasonable price and super nice. I highly recommend this grill and this brand!

Awesome Road Trip Grill

What a great little portable grill! Bought this for my 3 week motorcycle trip to NC/TN/GA to keep at the campground, and it's perfect! Fits great inside my Xterra and leaves plenty of room for all the supplies. Bought a 20lb tank adapter as I don't like the small bottles, they get used up to fast. Tried it out over the weekend and boy this thing is a wonderful little grill - high quality, grates are heavy duty and really did a nice job on the cook. Lots of room on the grill for plenty of food, 4 burgers and 2 steaks fit nicely. The ease of setting this up and taking it down is just amazing. I love this compact Traveler Grill! Great job Weber!

Best Compact Grill

I had the Weber Traveler for a year and it was an awesome grill! It was just a little big for the back of a Jeep Wrangler. It had to be leaned up a little on the side of the cargo area. The new compact model fits left to right with room to spare. It cooks just as well and works great. The side table is sort of useless now except for drinks or small items. But it’s worth saving the space. Hopefully they come out with the cargo cover for it soon.

Best Grill EVER

I've had 3 Weber Grills before when we lived in houses with backyards. Love Weber Grills! We moved to a 55+ community 2 years ago and I've wanted a grill but it has to be stored in the garage. I finally decided to purchase the Traveler Compact and it is PERFECT!!! It folds up and fits against the wall in the garage. It heats up fast with a 1 lb propane tank and cooks beautifully! Ribeye burgers came out so good. Chicken. Hot Dogs. Corn on the cob. Just the right size for two people and stores perfectly. Wish I hadn't waited 2 years to grill again.

Fast Grilling.

I’m a charcoal diehard who loves the experience of lighting the coals and enjoying the process start to finish. I bought this Weber for camping trips but have found I use it at home all time. We have three teenagers and life is hectic. I find this grill is great when I just need to get food ready faster. Plus, it does an incredible job and has plenty of room to grill for all five of us. The heat is way more consistent than I expected. I am recommending this to everyone. Amazing product.

I Believe This is the Perfect Traveler!

I love it! Ever since I saw the regular Traveler, I've been hoping for a compact version. Great job, Weber. I have two recommendations. First, there isn't a proper cleaning video from Weber, especially for deep cleaning. I'd like to know how to clean and maintain it after each use and periodically, including which cleaning products to use on the griddle and interior. Please create a comprehensive regular and deep cleaning video for Traveler models; it would be very helpful for everyone. Second, there are no accessories available at the moment. I hope they'll be on the market before summer ends. Despite this, I would recommend this grill to anyone looking for one to take on road trips.

Light and easy to move

We purchased this in early April. Have used it a few times. Works well, but is not quite the superior quality we expect from Weber. Understand it is a traveler so has to be light and easy to transport with a small propane tank. Also, looked at other products after and some of them have a dual burner, while Weber is a single burner. I think 2 would be much better.

Love it - perfect family home BBQ

Perfect size. Safe inside patio. Keeps temp well. Food is amazing. Great for family dinner night. About 6-8 20 minute cooks on a 1 lb bottle. Haven’t used for camping, but great for home as it’s easy to clean and no big rusty bbq - 2 cook grills that come out for easy wash. I haven’t hosted a party with a lot of meat, but I’m pretty sure it can handle. Great product.

No accessories available😡

I purchased this little traveler, grill before researching what accessories are available. Don’t bother with customer service, I spent over 3 hours and they give you the wrong part numbers. There are no accessories available yet for this little grill. I requested an RMA of the unopened box it comes in. They received the return 3 days ago and still no refund. Not a happy camper
