Weleda Skin Food Light 30 ml

This Skin Food Light cream is my beauty debut with this brand. It's a multi-tasking cosmetic for dry skin care, I think it's just right for the current season. It envelops and soothes the skin, protects against cold and wind, moisturizes, leaves the skin soft and smooth. It brings immediate relief. It has a slightly yellow color and I sense lemon notes in it. I am currently using the treatment in ampoules with vitamin C and this cream works great after using the ampoules. It provides the skin with an appropriate level of hydration, without weighing it down, and is non-comedogenic. It is also perfect under makeup. It has a light consistency, is easily and quickly absorbed. It can be used in the morning and evening on the face and body or spot on dry and rough areas.

This product is literally food for your face. The product has a watery texture, which I wasn’t expecting especially for dry skin, but this made it really easy to blend into my skin. This product smells so amazing as well: it smells floral and unique but not in a bad way. My only complaint with this product is that you do not get a lot of it but I suppose the price makes up for it as this product is very affordable and one of the best drugstore moisturiser I’ve used in awhile! If you are on tretinoin, please do the sandwich method with this! I did it and it cleared all my acne and my dry patches in 1 month. I would 100% use this product again and recommended it to all of my friends!

This is an unassuming moisturizer despite the viral hit that Weleda skin food has cultivated via KJH and other social media shout outs. I like a glowy dewy finish and have dry skin. I find this nourishes my parched skin without simply sitting on the surface. It’s much easier to work in then the original, has no obtrusive smell and does not clog my pores at all. It’s natural and I find it more effective than a number of high end creams I have and do use. What I’m saying is don’t overlook it, it’s simple but stunning as a base.

Good, not great

All right ladies (and gentlemen), I will preface this by saying I am a big fan of the Weleda brand. My skin is Eastern European - kind of sensitive, combination, dry in the winter. I bought it hoping that it would moisturize my skin without irritation during the colder months. It did moisturize, it did not leave me looking of feeling greasy, scent is pleasant. However, I did notice a few small pimples appearing on my skin after using it regularly. I am still happy with the product, but I am sure not to use it DAILY anymore.

It’s meh

I watch a lot of beauty/Asian content, and am an avid K-beauty skincare collector. Someone mentioned this in passing to try this as a last-step moisturizer power-up, so I clicked on it really quick and waited for it to arrive.First complaint: it’s quite small. At first, I was certain there had been a mixup—had I been sent a trial size by accident? I double checked my order, and nope—I’m the dummy. It really is 30 mL of medium viscosity moisturizer for $14 or so. Feels soft and works into the skin nicely, but still leaves the feeling of “inner dryness,” or dehydration, if if you’re not well-hydrated. Overall, 3/5 for formulation, and it’s my fault for not noticing the size for the price, so no penalty there.

Love it!

Use this more as a primer than moisturiser but it works well for both! It feels lovely on the skin and has a nice fresh scent. Leaves skin a bit tacky after first application which is great as a primer but if you leave it awhile it will sink it and looks nice and glowy on skin. Couldn’t use anything else now! I have quite sensitive skin that easily reacts to products but this has been fine despite it being slightly scented. Would highly recommend!

Meh - OK moisturiser, but nothing special

Not sure what all the hype is about, to be honest. Bit disappointed. Pleasant enough moisturiser. Strong citrus scent, which does smell nice, but I'd prefer an unscented version from an 'icky' ingredient point of view. Definitely not a wow. I also made the mistake of buying the 30ml size, which is basically a ridiculously expensive sample! Won't be bothering to buy the full-size version though.

Smells amazing

I tried the light version before I tried the original version as I didn’t want anything too heavy. This smells amazing firstly. The scent is wonderful. This is a light cream that feels amazing on my skin, it absorbs quickly and leaves my skin looking glowy and it’s hydrated too. Some days I’ll use this with the original skin food as that one is thick and hard to rub in sk I’ll apply some of this with it and this makes it much easier for the original thicker cream to absorb. This is the second time I’ve purchased the light skin food and I’ll be buying it again as irs a favourite of mine. I have dry skin and this is perfect.

The best thing ever!! I buy bottles of this

Okay so where to start with this thing of beauty quite literally! It’s the best thing to use on your face ! It’s so natural, light & beautiful. My face literally looks and feels like I’ve had just have a facial it’s that nice. There needs to be a bigger size than 75ml bottle brought out of this ! I’m sure many people could agree with me for this! It’s worth the money the only down side to the brand is they haven’t created a bigger size than 75ml they only have with the body butter however that isn’t specified for the face so I haven’t tried that and with it being this good I don’t know why
