The only reason I am giving three stars is because this is not Clairol Vitapointe as the picture says. My jar does not say Clairol as the picture and description states which is why I specifically purchased this product from this seller. I am 50 years old and have been using Vitapointe since preschool. This photo is what the jar used to look like before Clairol sold the company. The product is as close as you will get but it is not the same as the original formula. The consistency of this product is thicker and the color has a grey hint to it unlike the original which is white. Had I Known that I was not purchasing the original Clairol Vitapointe I would have just looked on eBay. Please update this product photo and description to show what you actually get. My jar ... Wella became my fav permanent hair dye when I went from sandy blond with LOTS of highlights in full blond to honey blond spectrum with 25 inch long hair that was chemically straightened. It did not pull green or super fade but of course even with filler pushing pigment back in can be a long additionally damaging marathon. BUT Wella is my fav BECAUSE THE CREME TEXTURE DOES NOT RUN!! So your hair is actually getting chance for full exposure to the dye. My color Brown with Wella is lovely. My color Brown with Wella Koleston STUNNING!! Richer brown but with beautiful depth SHINE!! Prefer this Wella Creme as a brunette as barely any fading the SHINE!!!... Show more

I love this color! I used 12/96 today and it's the perfect thing for toning down yellow hair. I used a bleach that made my hair so brassy and yellow (age beautiful) that I broke down and ordered Schwartzkopf Blondme lightener and developer. I came across the swatch of 12/96 Koleston on the website. Promptly googled the hair color to confirm the shade, ordered it and prayed. It is so beautiful! Sally beauty supply has nothing of this quality. I've tried other hair colors that were supposed to give this effect and the color would always turn out dull, shades darker and gray. Before and after below, after using Blondme lightener.... Show more

I’ve been coloring my hair blonde for years, and about two years ago I developed an allergic reaction to the brand I had used for many years. I tried different brands of hair color over these last two years and either they burn my scalp or they leave my hair brassy. This color is perfect! My hair has zero brass and no yellow. It’s the perfect shade of blonde for me. I only gave it 4 stars because I did experience some breakage with it, and that’s something I haven’t experienced with other hair color brands. However, I did have to overlap a bit to eliminate some brassiness, so it could be a technical issue on my part. I’m going to touch up the regrowth in a month, and I’ll update this review depending on whether or not I get breakage again or not making sure I’m very ... I’m hoping it will work out because after years of trying to get the perfect blonde, I’ve finally found it. I just want to make sure the integrity of my hair remains nice and healthy.... Show more

77/43 did not cover my greys
i love the medium brunette reds of this line, but the medium ash blonde red 77/43 only tinted my gray hairs orange. they still have the same spotty bits of shine that really make them stick out. i followed the directions very carefully and measured the developer, so i dont think it was human error.... Good at First
I tried this color because I am allergic to some hair dyes and this is supposed to use ingredients that prevent people from becoming allergic. However, they warn that if you're already allergic, you may be allergic to this, too. Just a warning that that is what happened to me. Sadly, I was no less allergic to this product than any other.I did try some level 6N dye off my scalp on my level 6 hair with 15 vol developer. At first it looked great, but after a few weeks, it did fade out to a brassy shade of orange, sadly. I am going to keep trying a few more products. 10 vol didn't give me as much coverage of my grey as I wanted.... Show more

LOVE THIS
This is the best haircolor Wella has put out. I am not a professional & my colorist is on Maternity leave but she gave me my formula. Iused this at home & it came out so perfect!! I also love how cleanly the product rinses out. Other, nonprofession haircolors I have used take forever to rinse, prior to shampoo. I applied this product heavily and it rinsed out in less than a minute. I will never use anything else!... Show more

Works great!
I’ve been using tigi colours, but this is so much better! My hairdresser recommended it and I am super happy with it. Colour is great - I was able to get the equivalent shade I was getting in tigi so it was super easy to move over to wella. The texture and smell are lovely, and it covers grey very well. It has lasted really well so far.John was also amazing to deal with! Super helpful and communicative. Very happy customer 😃... Show more

Wrong product
Second time in the row sent a wrong type of hair color. The shade is correct but the name and the packaging is different. I specifically paid extra to have this particular product but was sent what it seems “ an updated version “ and it’s not the same as original ( does not cover grey completely) if you no longer have this particular product, remove from the list and don’t deceive your customers!...
