Great portable unit, reliable, easy to light. If you work on cars trucks or have a property where you need to work remote, you need this. I have several, love it.
This may be a top brand, and the solidness & quality is there.But the on/off sliding gas lever is hard to keep consistent.It does not feel safe when off, it may be bumped & the gas will come out.It would have been better with a dial.Overall, it would have been better to purchase a rechargeable electric style soldering iron even though a bit more expensive.
One handy soldering iron. Does the job and FAST heat up. One note, it needs a Butane sight window.
Flame/temperature adjustment, ignition button, fill port, removable soldering tip. Does NOT use Torx screws! Seems durable enough.
Timely delivery and a great product, much better quality than the cheapies I've used in the past ......
Have had mine for several years, works fine. Starts quickly. Can't do heavy wire and fuel level on mine is hard to judge.
Beats any battery powered portable solder unit I have tried hands down. (even one from Weller) Easy to refill and goes a long time on one fill.
