Additionally, he has not had any digestive issues. He loves this food so much that when he hears me open the bag, he comes running and tries to reach the counter with his front paws while standing on his hind legs! This dry food also seems to keep him satisfied longer between feedings in comparison to his regular dry food. I highly recommend Wellness Core cat food to other cat lovers. Buddy clearly enjoys the taste and I love that the ingredients contain glucosamine which helps with his joints. He is getting older and at his recent vet appointment, the vet recommended glucosamine supplements. We are now a Wellness Core family! #wellnesscore

So my cats initially wanted to get into the bag of dry food but once I gave it to them it was a strike out for all three. Not a single one of my cats wanted to eat the food once out of the bag which definitely means they don’t like it. Normally if I open a bag of food and put it in their bowls they are tripping me to gobble up the food. They do this for wet food as well. Maybe it was just the flavor I received and I need to try a different one. My cats won’t eat the salmon in the brand of dry food I feed them currently but will eat the turkey and chicken varieties. I won’t rule this one out completely since my cats did initially show interest and may eventually try another flavor they sale.

Finally I got some delightful meal for my furry babies! I have 5 cats, all saved in different circumstances. Their age varies from 7 months up to 14 years. Ok. My cats are indoor pets - never go outside. All are active, healthy and funny. They usually eat 2-3 times a day, depends on their meows;) I am always looking for new food to bring them more joy. So I got grain free protein rich nutrition for indoor pets with salmon and herring and a pate. Obviously, I can not try it myself, but cats seems to be happy eating this Wellness CORE meal. I was provided with a small bag of the dry food and one can of wet food for my cat to try. Before I even had the bag open, my cat was all over it, sniffing and trying to tear it open. She is usually pretty finicky, but she loved the smell and taste of it. I had her try the dry and wet food on two separate days. During the span of a week, she was still enjoying the dry food. As far as the wet food went, she only ate half of it. She is super finicky when it comes to wet food and usually only likes Fancy Feast. I am considering purchasing the dry food in the future, and switching off every few weeks with another brand I usually purchase.

My cats were happy to receive the box and somehow knew it was for them. I started with the dry food. I have 7 cats who are ages 14 - 18 and, like people, are stuck in their ways. They nibbled a bit but walked away. After a few days of this, I tried them on the wet food. They devoured it! There wasn't enough in the tiny can for 7 cats to get enough, but they enjoyed what they did eat. I am going to continue to try to get my fur babies to like the dry food. I love the all natural ingredients and that there is no grain, while others have grain as the main ingredient. I would encourage other pet parents to try this Wellness Core food with their babies.

When switching my cat to a new food I am always a bit hesitant because she is quite picky and there have been issues with new foods causing her to experience digestive issues. I love that this dry food is grain free and as soon as I opened the shipping box she was all over the bag so I already knew her liking it wasn’t going to be an issue. The size of the kibble is perfect, not too small but also not too large. While it definitely has a stronger cat food smell than her other food, it doesn’t stink and once it was in an airtight container I didn’t notice it at all. She seems to love it which is one of the only things that matters to me, but on top of that, I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and nutritional value that this food offers.

Cats don't like this.

I have always liked Wellness brand. They have a very healthy nutrition balance and my cats love them, all the Wellness Core recipe. I stumbled upon this on pet circle and I thought i might just try this one. I was disappointed to find out that my cats do not like this at all. I have 2 cats in the house, one is a picky eater and the other eats everything (by everything i mean everything, every food I we have tried she eats). But this one, they don't want at all. I can barely feed them 40g let alone 50g. Now i have a big bag of untouched 5kg of food that doesn't even seal. plus it smells a bit metallic but that might be because of the fish centered recipe.

Healthy, Natural, Cat-Tested

Looking at the bag, it looks fancy and I like the shiny blue colour, makes it stand out. Opening the bag was very easy, and it didn't rip in an annoying way. So that was good. Pouring the food into the cat bowl worked well. Was able to use the bag to control the direction of the pour. I really like the size of the pellets. It makes me think it would be easier for the cats to eat. While I was pouring it out, the cats were putting their head in the bowl. They started eating straight away, even my most fussy cat. The bag seal worked well. The pellets looked a little bit unappealing, but that's just from years of seeing greens, yellows, reds and oranges (fake colours I guess). My cat won't touch it

My cat won't eat this unless it's the last thing available. She's not a fussy cat and loves her food, so it's unusual for her to have such a strong aversion to something. She used to love the Wellness Complete Health which is now hard to find in Aus - I thought this would be a good alternative (same brand and both grain free) but she won't touch it. Instead she will wait for a chance to eat the Kitten Wellness Core from the other cat's bowl, and even then, only when she's desperate. Ironically, the kitten will eat this... but the kitten also stole and ate steamed broccoli last night, so I don't think he's a good measure for taste haha

Visible difference in cat health

My holistic vet says this was the only dry food she would feed a cat. I switched my sphynx to this who is generally healthy, but like all sphynx, she is extra oily, and her ears are extra dirty. About a month into switching to this food, her ears no longer have black wax, and her body oil is also cleaner looking. She still needs her baths, but it is clear that her body responds better to this food and we have tried many different ones! It does have a very fishy smell, but I guess that tells me it’s really all fish. She LOVES this food and is excited for it every day.
