The consistency is a smooth mousse, that smells exactly of chicken broth (chicken and broth are the first ingredients). In the past these types of product are normally a ‘treat’ and rarely a meal, only because it’s usually not long until the begging for more food happens. This was absolutely a meal and kept stomachs happy and full! The benefits from the meal are quite clear and easy to read, such as sustained energy, highly digestible, promotes healthy skin/coat, immune health, healthy teeth/bones and is veterinarian recommend wellness! I’m happy to keep this in rotation for my fuzzy buddies!!

So my little grey tuxedo cat - Call Sign Charlie - is a very picky eater! I cannot begin to tell you how many cans of cat food I have donated trying to find foods she would eat on a regular basis! I did not have high hopes when I initially served this to her as she usually turns up her nose at anything new but to my surprise, she dove right into this! As you can see from the video it was very tasty to her and she really enjoyed it! I got a lot of love after she was done! I love that this product comes in individual servings and that it is super easy to open - just rip the top off. Would highly recommend for any other finicky felines out there! Also says no added artificial flavors, preservatives or colors. Carrageenan free! It's supposed to support: sustained energy, highly digestible, healthy skin and coat, immune health and healthy teeth and bones. Feeding instructions are according to age, size and activity of your cat. Room temperature. Feed 4-4 1/2 pouches per 6 to 8lbs of body weight per day. Seems excessive. I received this product for free from Wellness and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. My cat tried the Seafood Poultry pack weeks ago but unfortunately he didn’t like it. When the mousse only option came up for grabs, I decided to try it as they are giving away the Chicken flavor which my cat hasn’t tried yet. To my dismay, the same thing happened, he just snobbed it. They sent me 3 pouches and I tried to feed him 2 and both times, he didn’t touch the food. The smell is tooo strong, I should say, the strongest among all the cat foods that I’ve served my cat. The mousse texture also is very runny- more like soupy than mousse. I store his cat food in a cool dry place so it’s not because of the storage. Unfortunately, this is still a no for my cat.

I have more than one cat; I also have kittens, and as soon as I opened a pouch of Wellness mousse chicken turkey, they all came running. They loved the flavor and texture. It has a very strong meat scent so they enjoyed it. It has quality ingredients, and each recipe is scientifically proven to support the 5 signs of well-being. It's veterinarian-recommended and protein-rich. No artificial flavors, preservatives, or colors. It was a big hit at my home. Pictures enclosed. One of our kitties was so excited about this Wellness Appetizing Entree that he ate it straight from the pouch. The super soft texture is great for younger cats. It would serve as a good food topper as well. The single serve pouches are super convenient. I am not a fan cat food in the refrigerator, so this is a perfect alternative to canned foods.It has great ingredients without any of the bad stuff. Chicken is the main ingredient. There are no preservatives, grain or added color. The smell was not strong or offensive. This is a great product all around.This is an all around great product. I am glad I was introduced to it. I will be purchasing some more.

I was sent this product complimentary for writing an honest review. My cat really enjoyed this and he is picky, especially with wet foods. The packet is 1.4 oz which is the perfect amount without there being any leftover. Wellness is a high quality brand and recommended by vets for a reason. The chicken and turkey mousse recipe has real chicken as the number one ingredient and it is also grain free. It supports sustained energy, highly digestible, healthy skin and coat, immune health, and healthy teeth and bones.
