Western Digital Green 240GB 2.5" SATA III SSD - WDS240G3G0A

Brought two of these while they were on sale, and was hoping to make a small ZFS mirror pool.Not anymore because one of them is completely useless, even to the extent where it is falsely reporting its size as 270GB.I wouldn't trust these with important data.I would recommend others to get something a little more expensive and save yourself the hassle!

I've put this into my HP Laptop which has speed up my start up and my computer is quieter and has replaced my hard drive which is sitting where my DVD player was located. So the SSD is 240 GB for my C: drive and my Hard drive is 480 GB currently empty but is my Data drive

A nicely priced, sized and durable boot disk for my RasPi 3b+. Power usage is well within the Raspi rating. Connected it using a usb-sata cable. The PC/win10 RasPi OS imaging utility is happy with it as a target. Booted flawlessly first time. Imho a much better option than an SD card.

Does superb for my Xbox one.

I just swapped drives from my 500gb Samsung hdd and during the time my system randomly ran sluggish fixed it but I installed the wd green 1tb and to more frank it's out performing my Samsung hdd even when it's almost full. I've had now 2 issues with Samsung products in which one was a 256gb Samsung Evo that corrupted in just a few months and has issues recognizing now and now my Samsung hdd is fixed I have yet to have not had any issues with WD products as I have a WD green SSD and a WD blue hdd and in which neither have given me any issues for gaming no or my laptop.

Get going Faster

Light small, fast. I put this in an older desktop to replace a mechanical drive.The mechanical drive would take 60-90 seconds to spin up and loadThis loads in about 15 seconds. The same for programs. I could wait a minute ormore for a large program like photoshop to load. That now opens in about 10 seconds.Sits easy in any open bay and you never hear it 'spin up'.Well worth the extra money for all of the advantages.

Used your red, blue hdd in the pass with great results 98% of those drive are still in service installed in ex4100. dl4100,ex2 ultra plus 7 or more computers

Excellent price for a 1 TB drive! I didn’t realize the disk had to be initialized before my pc recognized it. Caused me some frustration but it was my own fault. I would definitely recommend this product!

Product is good but you have to figure it out

The product itself works, but you have to figure out how to make it work with lots of googling and work arounds. YouTube and other people figuring out the work arounds are what actually got this product to function for me. I would go with a different company to purchase this product next time so that I could skip the 20+ hours of trying to make it work like the directions say it should.

Solid performance, never had a problem with WD SSD

A no-brainer to use, fast replacement laptop drive or use as a fast USB drive with a sata to usb adapter. Just clone your system on to it (there are various ways), replace the existing sata drive with this one and your system will be up to 3 times faster.

WD Green 2TB SATA SSD

Hi bought WD Green 2TB SATA SSD and used it as internal drive, I created 3 Partitions and installed Windows10 on C partition, SSD worked fine for for 2 days but after that having problem on startup, in short now i cannot delete partitions, i cannot format partitions, i tried to do that with diskpart also tried with 3rd party softwares but until now i am unable to delete/format partitions and with existing partitions also it is not working. please help me to fix this issue.
