I just swapped drives from my 500gb Samsung hdd and during the time my system randomly ran sluggish fixed it but I installed the wd green 1tb and to more frank it's out performing my Samsung hdd even when it's almost full. I've had now 2 issues with Samsung products in which one was a 256gb Samsung Evo that corrupted in just a few months and has issues recognizing now and now my Samsung hdd is fixed I have yet to have not had any issues with WD products as I have a WD green SSD and a WD blue hdd and in which neither have given me any issues for gaming no or my laptop.

As ever, the quality of WD products are beyond reproach! Installation was easy peasy and using the WD Acronis software to transfer the content from the OEM hard drive was a walk in the park.The sole complaint I have, is that despite having purchased the SSD online directly from Western Digital, they STILL insisted I send them a scan of the paid invoice! REALLY?! C'mon folks!

Light small, fast. I put this in an older desktop to replace a mechanical drive.The mechanical drive would take 60-90 seconds to spin up and loadThis loads in about 15 seconds. The same for programs. I could wait a minute ormore for a large program like photoshop to load. That now opens in about 10 seconds.Sits easy in any open bay and you never hear it 'spin up'.Well worth the extra money for all of the advantages.
Used your red, blue hdd in the pass with great results 98% of those drive are still in service installed in ex4100. dl4100,ex2 ultra plus 7 or more computers
Excellent price for a 1 TB drive! I didn’t realize the disk had to be initialized before my pc recognized it. Caused me some frustration but it was my own fault. I would definitely recommend this product!
After I've clone my windows 10 Pro from my previous non-ssd drive to this ssd drive, the PC keeps freezing now and then, I've checked online, it seems that I am not alone on having this issue with WD SSD drives, please help me fix this
The WD SATA SSD works good, but there are no software for cloning or back up like SAMSUNG SATA SSD provided on their website...It would be great if Western Digital provided it... I have hard time trying to find software for it, had to buy some software to cloning/backup for it.
The product itself works, but you have to figure out how to make it work with lots of googling and work arounds. YouTube and other people figuring out the work arounds are what actually got this product to function for me. I would go with a different company to purchase this product next time so that I could skip the 20+ hours of trying to make it work like the directions say it should.
Hi bought WD Green 2TB SATA SSD and used it as internal drive, I created 3 Partitions and installed Windows10 on C partition, SSD worked fine for for 2 days but after that having problem on startup, in short now i cannot delete partitions, i cannot format partitions, i tried to do that with diskpart also tried with 3rd party softwares but until now i am unable to delete/format partitions and with existing partitions also it is not working. please help me to fix this issue.
