I was forced to buy this 24" TV/DVD combo when my older 32" TV/DVD combo's screen went dark after 10 years. I wanted a TV/DVD combo but this was all I could find, and to make things worse, it was a floor model minus the remote and mounting screws. When I brought the unit home, I mounted it and turned it on. Once the universal remote was programmed and working, I was pleasantly surprised by the sharp picture, and the clear audio. Set up was easy and a snap.

I ordered this for my bedroom. The sound isn't good, it's tinny and stressed over half volume, which is not loud at all. The DVD player has a lot of issues, sounds very bad for about five minutes, just the DVD spinning making terrible racket, like something is really really wrong with it, and it won't play some DVDs that play fine in other players.

I love this tv. I only watch dvd's so I enjoy having the built in player. The picture is great with sharp contrast and color. There's slight vibration in sound with the bass but I use mostly treble so I can hear more easily. I attached an in-house antenna and the channels I pickup are clear as well. The screen size is perfect for my small space and it's very lightweight.
I had ordered this combo about 8 years ago and it finally was on its way out. This new one arrived with serious damage to it. The screen was cracked despite the fact that it was packaged well. The damage has nothing to do with how this TV Combo works. The new one is an upgraded model and easier to operate. I called QVC for a replacement. I had to return this one, but they sent out the replacement immediately and it arrived in perfect condition.The fact that the price was the same I paid 8 years ago was quite a surprise. Also got free shipping and handling! The QVC CS person provided me with a UPS Ground label so I don’t have to wait until it is actually received by QVC (which generally takes quite a bit of time) before getting the replacement. "I have three current units of this same 24"" Westinghouse TV/DVD player. One unit continues to work normal. One unit has now failed after 5 years to load the DVD source by the on/off button (media is in the unit). It is an electronic switching issue as the unit will connect to the DVD source and load 20% of the time. I am now replacing that unit with the same model. Another DVD unit is beginning to emit mechanical noise after 5 years indicating the plastic gears or bands are showing wear. Aside from the 5 year apparent lifespan of the DVD portion of the combo unit
First of all, the tv/dvd combo was shipped without a HDMI cable. What company ships a product without including the wires and cables necessary to utilize the item?Second, when we finally got the tv/dvd combo connected, the screen was cracked inside. There was half of a television program at the bottom half of the screen and a shape similar to that when a rock hits a windshield at the top with "crack" lines halfway down and across the screen.
i bought one. it started acting up. it took 6 months before the tv altogether stopped working took me another 4 months until they sent me a replacement. it took 8 hours of connecting to my wifi and download starup program. now the wifi constantly shutts off on the tv. same as the other was doing. my laptop, phone, and modem have been tested by a professional. while connected to wifi using roku app on my phone is signaled that it's disconnected from tv. i try to connect and it says tv is off. while I was watching the tv say the episode expired. i go to setup wifi and it shows connected and excellent signal. go to view show and says need to setup connection. Their online support requires to pay for a service from Just Ask. a subscription service.
