Westinghouse 60cm Freestanding Dishwasher Stainless Steel WSF6604XB

This is a replacement unit for a 16 year old unit (heating unit faulty)replacement was easy being of the same size. Works excellent cleans all dishes and pans thoroughlyy.

I ordered a WSF6604WA to replace my good old LG LD1452WFEN2 after 16 years and it disappointed me from the very moment I took it off the box. I cannot blame anyone but myself. I never ever buy anything online, without inspecting it first in the show room.The steel plate used for the door is so thin that I can push it in by a finger. The buttons are loose in their place. If you put your finger on them and move around you see they are all wobbly. The internal cold formed stainless-steel plate is wrinkled in the corners. The hoses are made of cheap material. They look brittle. The trays are made of tiny steel and I bet they will bend or break in short time. The door lock is made of plastic, so weak. The flood protection tray is made of such tiny sheet that it can be punctured even by sliding the dishwasher on the floor. The counter weight is made of a poor-quality concrete. When I wanted to push the dishwasher under the bench, grits came off easily. The filter screen is made of plastic, this is the stupidest thing I have seen. No water spray arm on the ceiling. The upper rack’s sliding arms are made of a poor fabricated profile. They had very sharp edges that cut my finger, I had to remove them to file. When I removed them, I realized they are not straight! Sliding bar’s end stops are tiny needle like plastics.The delay timer is limited to only 3 options: 3, 6, or 9 hours. How stupid could it be? It has no beeping sound. So, you never know if door is left open. It has no count down timer and you don’t know when the cycle will be finished. Instead of a timer, it has a bunch of stupid lights. It has no trouble shooting capacity, nothing such as a beeping system or fault indication.It is noisy and loud.I don’t expect it to last to the end of its warrantee. I don’t think its pumps and internals are any better. Unlike my old LG I don’t think if it fails it can be repaired, or be worth of repairing. For $800, this is the most expensive piece of rubbish I have ever bought. The glorious days of Westinghouse are passed, I don’t know in which dark corner of the world they put this mantle of rubbish together. It is waste of money and effort and I can say it is bad for our environment too, considering how short its life would be.My suggestion: pay a few hundreds more and stay away of it.

Cheapest dishwasher I have ever bought. But it’s working power is excellent. On all cycles it is whisper quiet and cleans beautifully. There is even a button for tablets which means they fully dissolve. I wanted white so that was a major reason for purchase. Great buy.
