It's a great dishwasher. Easy to use, quiet, plenty of space. We had to relearn how to stack our dishes and cutlery with a drawer instead of a basket, which is irritating of course. We also had to have a power cable and power outlet relocated to allow the dishwasher to fit against the back of the under-bench space. It's very slightly deeper so it protrudes about 20 mm further from the bench top. This is not sufficient to be cosmetically displeasing, but unfortunately it is sufficient that the touch buttons, which are quite sensitive, are easily (and often) pressed when working on the benchtop starting the dishwasher randomly. Hopefully we will "learn" our way around this.Otherwise, it is the third Westinghouse dishwasher, and we hope for a life as long and trouble ... MoreIt's a great dishwasher. I regret buying this dishwasher. I wish I bought another Bosch, but I bought this because Westinghouse is Australian and it matched the colour of our other appliances in our new kitchen. Where do I start? It does not dry the dishes, whatever the cycle. Nothing fits in it. It has flimsy trays and parts which feel weak and cheap. You can't rearrange the plate racks how you want, only remove them. It has a flat cutlery 3rd drawer in the top, not a vertical cutlery basket option in the bottom drawer, and these cutlery 3rd drawers are time consuming to place each cutlery item into and to unload them, and because it doesn't dry anything they come out wet and spotty, and many glasses (like wine glasses) won't fit on the second drawer thanks to the reduced clearance. The second tray doesn't like larger diameter glasses or cups either. I wish AOL would take it back and let me trade it in on a Bosch or something that actually works and fits stuff in. I have not found a thing I like about this dishwasher other than the outer appearance. The fact I have taken the time to write this review tells you just how annoyed at myself I am for buying this dishwasher!

We have been loyal to Westinghouse for the last 10-15 years. This is our 3rd Westinghouse dishwasher and our last. This model is disappointing in many ways and has a terrible sliding system on thebottom tray, the wheels are flimsy once you get weight on the rack and it diverts in every direction when pushing it in. We have had it for almost 4 weeks now and every time we use it, we say how much we dislike it.The top tray has the adjustable brackets on the side and they hit the plates below, so it prevents the rack going in unless you move the plates. The drying system is not efficient even when you select extra dry. I’ve tried different wash cycles and drying cycles and it very inconsistent. If I had time again I would not get this, I’m devastated I have to put up ... MoreWe have been loyal to Westinghouse for the last 10-15 years. This is our 3rd Westinghouse dishwasher and our last. If only we could go back, if I knew what I know now I would get a different brand. Sorry Westinghouse but we are not impressed with this one we have.

Not good enough!
10 July 2023

Very unhappy with this flimsy dishwasher. I bought this recently as I have a Westinghouse fridge and wanted the same stainless steel colour. But the top drawer falls out of its groove continually. It is almost impossible to put back in - a very bad design. I have the use of only one arm so am unable to do it myself and have to wait for help. It is so flimsy - every time I gently, slowly, and carefully pull out the cutlery drawer, it is so close to falling off it's runners. A very bad design! Especially when it looked so good online.

Not what expected
5 August 2024

I bought this about 5 months ago as a recommendation from dishwasher tech when replacing an LG dishwasher. The racks don't quite work, the lower level takes large dinner plates but wirh adjustment, you can fit large glasses in the top rack.I think I prefer a cutlery basket, the top rack never seems to clean the knives properly. Even wirh the'extra dry' selected, I still need to wipe all the mugs ad water sits on top. Maybe I was expecting more after having the LG....? Maybe its just what the price range delivers...?

Ok, but lacking some key features
12 March 2020

I purchased dishwasher WSF6608X specifically because of it's additional features over two other models that were less expensive. I would give the dishwasher 3 stars as the drying feature is not effective. I received the dishwasher, had it professionally installed and even when using the "dry +" feature, the unit is completely wet inside and requires you to hand dry all of the dishes with a towel before putting them away. Not efficient! I've booked a service call and will update this review if it turns out to be malfunctioning. Another feature I would have expected is for the dishwasher to 'remember' the last setting used. I have to re-program it each and every time I use it. Also when I called to book the service call it wasn't clear if it was Appliances Online or the manufacturer and there was a lot of back and forth and unnecessary hassle to book in a service request. If I were to do this all over again I would NOT purchase this dishwasher.

Unreliable, regular repair and safety hazard
20 June 2024

Unfortunately we have had multiple issues with this machine, you'd be doing well to get a couple years trouble free out of it. Buttons didn't last long at all, including main power button which melted internally (fire hazard?).Very sensitive, giving error codes regularly stopping the machine cycle. Flooded internally over one of the mains powered motors due to tiny drain hole becoming blocked.Support team simply stopped replying to my emails.Early intermittent issues occurred well within warranty period, however the concern that if the issue didn't show up while an engineer reviewed we would foot the bill so 'put up with' the issues...

Service from Betta was fast and professional. Thank you guys! Dishwasher was easy to install and are working well. Quiet plus dishes are clean and dry when a cycle is finished. The control buttons are a bit cheap and plastic like. Only negative so far. Controls are easy to use. The bottom drawer has stronger wheels for rolling in and out than my previous dishlex. The drawer does not fall in when loaded with heavy plates. The trop drawer holds a lot of glasses and cups. Great outlay. Overall very happy. Good value for money.

Would not recommend this dishwasher
4 July 2024

Very unhappy with this dishwasher. When you put a standard size dinner plate 250mm in the bottom rack you cannot fit a standard glasses in the upper tray. If you use the adjustable shelf to lower the upper tray to fit glasses you cannot fit plates in the bottom rack. This is not something you would realise before making a purchase. Tried removing the cutlery tray for more space but there is no option for an aftermarket cutlery basket. Programme is reset after every wash so you cannot have it set on a favourite as with other dishwashers. Would not recommend this dischwasher.

maybe I'm writing this too soon, but it is the second delivery as the first had a bowed door and would not open. The store was excellent though and I very quickly had a replacement. I realize it is at the lower end of the market price wise yet it has a lot of features, but I find the materials to be inferior, my average dinner plates won't stand up unless the top shelf is heightened and I cannot tilt my stemmed wine glasses on the top shelf even when it isn't raised. Infact the top shelf can't hold anything very high at all. The bottom shelf falls off the runners when I need to pull it far enough to reach into the back. There is more but I will try it running to see if it can make up for some of the above. It doesn't say in the details online, nor in the store that the top shelf raises not as an extra convenience, but because it has to. The cutlery shelf I originally thought was great only takes away from the height of the top shelf and I thought it would save space instead of having a bulky basket. I would like to change it to a different model but can I? I am keen to see how it can take a 15 setting fill which is what it is supposed to do. Hopefully I will be proven wrong but at the moment I wish I had paid more money for a higher quality item.
