Westinghouse 7.5kg Front Load Washer - WWF7524N3WA

I bought this product on the understanding it would work. It doesnt. The two guys who set it up from the good guys. Left without testing the machine. LI rang the good guys and they said it wasnt their problem. I had to get a plumber who charged me $139 to tell me the machine was faulty. Westinghouse are sending out someone in two weeks time. So, no I am not at all happy with the sso called Goo guys and will never use you franchise again.

Does the job

Purchased this washing machine for quite an affordable price and it does the job. Its spin cycle is a rather noisy but you can decrease the speed of the spin which helps. We also found that the adjustable legs are quite short and didn't extend enough for us to make the machine level so keep this in mind if you have quite an unlevel floor. Overall however, cleans the clothes well and looks good in our laundry.

Fabulous washer

Very pleased with my decision to buy a Westinghouse washing machine. It fits a lot more washing than it looks and despite it being noisy during part of the spin cycle, that only lasts for 5 minutes. The rest of the time the machine is beautifully quiet and it washes really well. Quality of the build is also very good. Previous reviewers have commented that it is disappointing not to be able to wash on a cold cycle for the most common 39 min wash. I have to agree with this. Otherwise, it is a fabulous machine.

Good machine. Lacking service

Paid for delivery and connection, levelling and set up of new machine. It was delivered and set up but never leveled. The water hose was squashed where they had put it and they had not cut down the excess hose when connecting it to the laundry tub water pipe so there was 1m of pipe visoble in mid air. Don't pay for the set up fee. Alternatively know what to look for and make sure they do every step that the service (which you have paid for) is for.

Great Machine and Great Delivery & Setup!

This was my second purchase from Appliances Online and I was very happy that I went with them. I made my purchase of the Westinghouse 7.5kg Front Load Washing Machine when they had a Boxing Day Sale. I ended up with nearly $400 off the machine and was able to select the day I wanted it delivered. The guys came took away the old machine and set up the new machine. They had some issues with the balance of the machine and didn’t leave until this was resolved. Very efficient and all part of the purchase experience with Appliances Online. Great washing machine.

I highly recommend this washing machine. My washing comes out clean & l love the quick wash feature of 16 minutes & this machine is really easy to use, not to complicated. If anyone is looking for a simple & efficient washing machine, the Westinghouse front loader is the one for you. Im very happy with my purchase.

Great!

Nice compact washing machine (although my 4 year old apartment is designed in such a way that I had to get a tradesman to take off the laundry door to fit it in the space for it! I paid for the Good Guys to deliver and install but they were unable to because of this design flaw). Have done a few washes now and it's nice and quiet, perfect size for what I need and has lots of programme options which I am still playing around with. Overall happy so far, but it has only been one week so need more time to give a full review.

Product arrived in a damaged condition so cannot review the product. However if this product was shipped from Westinghouse in the condition I received it in the quality control was extremely shoddy. To be fair the damage may have occurred in delivery but

The experience put me off this Product and as no replacements were available I received a Hisense 7.5 which I am very happy with in exchange for this product. Perhaps I should have been sent the review for the Hisense to fill out

Review of Purchase & use

Purchased one day & delivered and installed the next - that is excellent service. Previous Westinghouse Washing Machine lasted approx 20 years. At this early stage the new machine is quieter and functions require some re-learning. End buzzer is an annoyance at times. It is functioning very well at this early stage and hopefully will continue for many years.

Worst washing machine I’ve ever owned

I bought this at the recommendation of the Bing Lee staff member but I am so disappointed with it - I wasn’t really asked what features were important to me and this one has very few that are - it is VERY NOISY compared to all my previous competitor brand machines, it only spins at 1200 or 800 as the higher spin cycles and both are extremely noisy - the 800 is not enough spin but 1200 too high but nothing in between, it doesn’t turn off after the wash can only manually turn it off, I was told it has a bigger opening to the drum to make it easier to put clothes in and take out but it is smaller than the 7.5kg machine I replaced. I would not recommend this to anyone. Very disappointed.
