We have just recently upgraded our 4 burner cooktop to the 75cm 5 burner cooktop and couldn't be happier. Firstly, the plumber said it was easy to installed it without issue, we especially like the large side burner with an inner and outer flame, there is plenty of room to cook and having all the dials at the front is better than having them to one side. As always Westinghouse make quality products and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade. We also purchased the WVG655SCNG 60cm Duo Gas Oven and are loving this also.
I love this. First of all it has the largest burner on the side rather than the centre. This means you can use the other burners if you need to. So I can cook schnitzel in a 32cm frypan for 4 people on the largest burner, have potatoes on for mash and cook 2 other vegetables if needed!!! The steel trivets are very sturdy and don’t slip around when you’ve got a heavy pot on them. Overall I can’t fault this cooktop.
I picked this over a few competitors and it was fine until a pot of "potatoes" boiled over and required cleaning ***** Did that turn into a major operation **** The Stainless Steel finish refused to return to its brilliant best : It just wont respond to the soft sponge cleaning effort of my previous cook-top and some stain outlines just refuse to go, which is annoying as a soft sponge wipe is all it took to restore my old one. ...
The burners are very well distributed which allows for 2 large pans to be cooking at the same time! Much more thought has gone into this design!
This is a great cooktop. The wok burner has the power to heat up a wok quickly and properly within a home environment. This is great for proper wok cooling at home. The layout of the cook top is also good, but would be better if the look large cooker was at thd front, not back.
Bought 6 months ago and one of the burners did not work. Months later the shop sent someone to fix it. Within 4 months of buying it rust spots appeared all over the cook top. We do not live on the coast. The shop gave us some cleaning product and said they wouldn’t replace or refund the cooktop. Currently up to fair trading stage. Very disappointing.
undergoing a kitchen renovation and still not installed but would never buy anything other than westinghouse. 6 brand new kitchens & remodels and they have always been reliable.
