My first induction cooktop and absolutely thrilled.Controls are easy, heat is awesome and virtually instant. Love the consistent heating for boiling and frying - so much better than our old convection cooktop.Paired with the Westinghouse under bench oven (WVE655WC) - looks great.

So excited about my new Induction cooktop. Incredibly user friendly and my family say my cooking is better than ever. Easy to clean. Love too that it is integrated with the Westinghouse exhaust which automatically switches on as and when needed.

New to induction
5 August 2021

I purchased my first induction cooktop two months ago to be installed into my new kitchen. After having a ceramic cooktop in my previous home, induction is next level. Heats ups fast and best of all no boiling over. A great addition to my kitchen.

Quick and easy
24 January 2023

This is quick and easy to learn to use and very functional. I have one pot that is too small to be used on the cooktop surface - which I was a bit annoyed about. But I bought a stainless steel adapter plate and that seems to have solved the issue. Also invested in a silicone mat, which seems to be helping with pots slipping on the glass surface. Overall, I'm pretty happy. Feels very efficient. I guess I'll see when the powerbill comes!

Satisfied with new cooktop
15 March 2023

Once the hurdles of actually getting the cooktop and arranging installation were overcome the process of learning to use induction has been smooth. I have yet to use the flexizone , have found the controls quite responsive and the process rewarding The guide to what settings to use for different cooking and recipes is minuscule and not really definitive. I have printed up my own guide which I will add to as I explore different recipes and techniques

Brilliant! It makes cooking so much easierYou can put the spuds on boost bring them to the boil in 30 secs then turn down to a constant low boil and leave it and no need to come back re-setLike you would with gas or normal electric stove.Highly recommend.. great finish an ease of use

Very Happy Customer
15 June 2021

I’ve had my stovetop installed for a couple of weeks now and I’m very happy with it and the features it comes with. Love being in my new kitchen to use it. I have the matching range hood that automatically switches on when it detects steam. The light automatically comes on when I switch on the stovetop. Very easy to use and heats up very quickly. Easy to keep clean too. Highly recommend it.

I purchased this cooktop in June 2022 but it wasn't installed until 6th December. The price was $1,329. This unit is essentially the same as the 60cm induction cooktop except the glass width is wider which I needed to cover the hole from the old coil element cooktop this replaced. For a new benchtop installation the hole cutout is identical for the 2 models. Everything seemed good and it was easy enough to use...till 29th December when it stopped working during a cooking function on the front right element. The appliance was completely dead not responding to the on/off button. There was nothing wrong with the power as the oven was still working, both being on the same circuit. The appliance was completely dead not responding to the on/off button. There was nothing wrong with the power as the oven was still working, both being on the same circuit. I decided to initiate a service call via the Westinghouse website which I did, I think on 31/12/22. A service technician from Westinghouse came out on 10/1/23 and said it would have to be replaced and organised for this to happen. On 24/1/23 a service technician from Sydney Appliances came out to replace the cooktop.I would say that is a reasonable timeframe for replacing the appliance. Fortunately I was able to borrow a plug-in single electric cooktop from a friend to get me out of trouble.Needless to say I do not have much confidence in the product and shudder to think of the cost had this happened outside of warranty. After talking to a couple of service people (not saying who) I would be inclined to replace it with a plain ceramic cooktop if it failed again.Incidentally I bought an Electrolux semi-induction cooktop (2 induction elements and 2 ceramic elements) installed in 2007. It was made by AEG in Germany. That one lasted 5 years, just outside of an extended warranty. The cost of a board replacement plus call-out and service fees made it prohibitively expensive to repair. That was replaced by a cheap ceramic cooktop which is still working to date.
