I have had at least four Westinghouse fridges and have never had a problem with them. We recently inherited an LG French door fridge when we purchased our house and it lasted 9mths before giving up! So, we once again replaced it with a fabulous Westinghouse French door fridge, complete with ice maker and filtered water. It has an impressive large opening drawer which is multifunction - can be used for wine, snacks, large entertaining platters - or turn it into another part of the freezer - this is absolutely fabulous!!

Don’t buy this fridge unless you have first been to a bricks and mortar store and physically inspected it. The capacity of the main cavity is much smaller than our two door fridge/freezer. The cavity is inhibited by the ice maker, and poorly designed shelving. The door shelving is bizarre and quite dysfunctional. The only good thing about this fridge is the chilled water and ice maker but there are many other brands that offer these functions. I cannot recommend this fridge and wouldn’t buy it again. Terribly disappointed with it and a waste of money.

We were about to buy a replacement for our F&P French door fridge - disappointed that the seals had gone - and we’re beguiled by the “smart” fridges with wi-fi tablets and internal cameras. We have a large Westinghouse fridge-freezer that’s 20 years’ old still cooling the wine and beer and storing extra frozen goods out in the garage. Obvious as that sounds; it’s always an issue with some makes: this one is simple, easy to use, and just works! I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited by white goods but this fridge-freezer makes me smile every time I use it and we’ve had it a few weeks now. It’s a smile of smug satisfaction that comes from not succumbing to the appliance trying to be a home entertainment centre and sticking with a tried and trusted brand. I confidently expect this Westinghouse to be functioning as good as new in another 20 years from now.
Love our new fridge, the layout options in the fridge work well with lots of room on the doors for jars and tall bottles, harder to put tall bottles upright in the fridge area but we don't need that. Ice maker and the water dispenser are really useful as it's new for us. Settings are easy and intuitive, the middle draw feature being extra fridge or freezer as you prefer is a really good option. We use as a freezer for regular items and the convenience factor works well. Compared to our previous side by side this is an awesome upgrade. The only negative is the outside does show a few finger marks as without handles the kids tend to mark it up by touching the front of the doors. Would recommend this fridge to anyone.
Have only had for 5 days but very happy. Love the flexi- space. As we have a separate upright freezer, we use that section as additional fridge space for all our sauce and condiment bottles and jars that took up a lot of space in our old fridge. This frees up the top section for everything else, it holds so much, wide plates fit easily, plenty of places for tall items with the adjustable shelves. Fruit and veg drawers are spacious and fit a big lettuce or whole cauli easily with no jamming them in required. Great having them at eye level too so you can more easily see and access. Everything is so chilled, it's easy to wipe down to clean, doesn't show finger marks, ice maker going gang busters. Overall I couldn't be happier, love this fridge.
We updated to this plumbed in Westinghouse fridge from a non plumbed in fridge and are enjoying it's space and filtered water dispenser/ice dispenser. Disappointed that this fridge doesn’t come with a drip tray for the water dispenser. So if anyone doesn’t hold their cup properly or the kiddies fill their cups to high the water just falls straight down onto a flat surface then runs down the fridge onto the floor, which is not safe Incase someone slips. Surely it couldn’t be that hard to make a drip tray that could slide in and out to empty. I didn’t even check for this because I thought it would automatically have one.
With our other fridge unable to be repaired we were looking for a fridge that would last longer than 5 years. We found this one and sight unseen selected this to be our new fridge. When it was being delivered the delivery man was wonderful! Removed the old fridge and took unprecedented care in ensuring the new fridge was connected and my house was not damaged or marked in the process. I love having the flexibility of being able to make the bottom left part a freezer, fridge, drinks fridge, wine fridge and more. The dark finish is a sexy and sleek design and able to add that modern and sophisticated touch to any kitchen and home.
