Was looking for replacement and this fitted the build beautifully. Works well and great lighting. Install was simple (fitting as replacement) Blends into background nicely. Very happy with this purchase.

It’s entry price but too loud and too hard to clean . I wouldn’t recommend.mesh filters too long for dishwasher. So loud that you can’t hear anything else besides the unit . Made in china which is disappointing. But you get what you pay for . I will replace when I do full kitchen Reno

The rangehood is a replacement of the same range hood that was installed when our house was built 16 years ago. Everything is the same excepting that the front section is way shorter than the previous model. We had a coloured panel that matches the cabinets specifically to cover this, however this can't be used. It's not a big problem and is something we have fixed using stainless steel instead. Overall the extraction is excellent.

In photos online it shows everything is stanless steel. But infact it's only stanless steel the pull out part. The above shell from the pull out is white steel. Which looks bad in my kitchen. If I knew it was like this I would have not bought it..
Purchased product online and it did not match the picture on the website - we purchased a "stainless steel rangehood"! There is one strip of stainless steel on the front of this product everything else is white. When i unboxed and called HN they said it was buyers mistake and i could not return. There are significant quantities of white paint visible that clash with the existing white of our kitchen. It is an ugly disaster and HN would not take responsibility for their misleading representation of the product. The HN staff (bar one person who still could not help) were also extremely rude to deal with. Plenty of other suppliers out there! Last time i shop with this greedy behemoth! CAVEAT EMPTOR!!
Finally installed the original rangehood ordered after 3 attempts - reverted back to the original rangehood - and paid extra $400 for nothing! After many hours on the phone explaining story to many people .. still no answer or refund! Buyer beware!
This product replaced a 22 year old rangehood that was inefficient and looked old. The sleek stainless steel rangehood fitter perfectly and adds to the look of the kitchen. The rangehood has a powerful fan and light that come on when you extend it. I wish I had replaced it years ago.
This product is to replace a former model that had lasted 25 years. It has slightly different measurements so was difficult to fit. The old vent was rectangular and the new model vent is round. The fan is noisy and is controlled by how far you extend it out rather than a manual dial. It isn't as sturdy as old model, but light and fan are effective.
We're really happy and impressed by this Westinghouse Rangehood. It's got a lovely durable, solid, yet sleek feel when using it. It slides smoothly in and out. The fan speeds are so good, we only use the first one. The light shines everything perfectly. Very impressed. It replaced an old Robinhood rangehood, which had come to an end and was showing its age.
My old (Euromaid) rangehood died after two years' use and it made with a bad quality and the warranty service was terrible. I found this one is the only one can fit and so far I am happy with it. It builds with much better quality and wish it will last long. Apart from the quality, the unit is quite noisy.
