Single dad here, and this is my experience. It cleans my dishes well. I have a toddler, I don't do any pre rinsing and I use the cheapest tablets I can find, with a rinse aid, and it's cleaned everything everytime. The passive drying hasn't been great, but as soon as I notice it's done I open it and that helps until I get the chance to put things away. It's quiet enough to put on at anytime. Very happy overall with my purchase.

I get this this model is towards the basic end of the Westinghouse range, but I still expected better performance from this dishwasher. Despite pre rinsing dirty plates and pans prior to putting them into the washer for cleaning, I still need to manually scrub at least 1 pot or pan after the wash to properly clean. I'm using the "Heavy" wash cycle on nearly every wash to get most of the saucepans and pots cleaned. Any other cycle won't clean as well. I only had to scrub pots after a machine wash infrequently when using our previous Omega brand dishwasher. I've also found this dishwasher does not rinse properly, despite using the same rinse aid as our previous Omega dishwasher. I've tried various rinse aid settings, which was not easy to program on this machine. ... MoreI get this this model is towards the basic end of the Westinghouse range, but I still expected better performance from this dishwasher. So I have to manually rinse everything under running tap water after this dishwasher's finished because this machine does not have a 'rinse only' cycle. Other models do, which I found to be a very handy feature. Finally, I've found the upper spray arm caught on the upper tray a couple of times mid wash. The spray arms should not be hitting the upper tray. That's poor build quality. One good point though, I found the machine not overly noisy.

I have a family of 7, so this beauty is running a fair bit. I was wanting one with the knob as the last 3 had real issues blinking, not being able to press anything, this westinghouse has none of those issues. the racks are nicely spaced and the knife and fork rack is rather large (which is awsome). This does pots really well, everything so far has came out sparkling. We are on river water here so that is amazing. Seems to tolerate the harsh water well. recommended. especially for a big family.

While it washers well, the racks and trays are very flimsy and the positioning of the racks allows for very little larger items to be placed on the bottom rack. We have had westinghouse previously but it appears that the internal durability is getting cheaper and cheaper. Very disappointed. We only fit 3/4 the amount in the new Westinghouse compared to our previous westinghouse model. Ignore the amount of settings the dishwasher holds, its not true compared to previous models. Looks like next time we will head into a retail store to make sure our next purchase can handle day to day pots and pans
This machine does the job. No complaints so far, have only had it for a month. Draws do feel flimsy, but I rent and the dishwasher that broke before this was some $2000 ASKO. So the draws are probably fine and I have just be spoilt! No Display for minutes remaining, would be nice. Also no child-lock, so if we aren't using it I switch off the powerpoint. But that means that our settings are reset each time we turn it on. Ah well. All round a perfectly acceptable machine. Cheers.
We’ve had our Dishwasher 2 months now. The washer is efficient at its job and quite enough. It easily cleaned. Fits our days worth of dishes for a family of 4. We cook 6 days a week and never run out of space. Only downside is that the soap dispenser is lower down on the left side so any dinner plates need to be stacked opposite or the dispenser can’t open. This isn’t really a problem, just needs stacking accordingly. It’s not a Bosch but definitely Value for money Overall very happy.
I bought this unit online after my old machine suddenly died. I just wish I'd done it sooner! I love this dishwasher; it's quiet, fast, efficient and everything comes out spotlessly clean and dry. The racks are designed in such a way that you can fit so much more in it than any of the dishwashers I've previously owned. Particularly, the cutlery draw compartments are generous so there's no accidentally dropping forks into the bottom of the unit ever again. Excellent value for money. Would recommend in a heartbeat.
The service from Good Guys was great. We replaced a Bosch with this Westinghouse and it just feels a bit cheap (and it was $300 cheaper than a new Bosch). Shelves are fragile and it is very noisy. We purchased online so didnt inspect before purchasing which was a bit silly!Washes ok but we dont do any heavy pot washing. I wouldnt recommend if you have a large household or children as needs to be treated with a degree of gentleness.
Very happy with this d/w. Had a Bosch previously and dishes were always wet, no such issue with the Westinghouse. Taking a tip from a mate, spent $20 on foam acoustic tile and installed them in the cavity before I put in the D/W. A whole lot quieter than the previous D/W we had. Also, don't need a degree to operate. Would recommend.
Our LG dishwasher broke so we purchased the Westinghouse dishwasher. We’ve had Westinghouse goods before so we thought we would be getting a really good quality item. However, to be honest, we haven’t been overly impressed with this dishwasher. It doesn’t dry like it says it should, no matter what we try. Even on the hottest setting we have to hand dry it all. Our LG dishwasher was brilliant with drying. The door also seems quite flimsy. It is a wonderful price and looks nice. But next time, I would rather pay a bit more and get a better unit.
