These really help with my Boston Terrier's breath, but she only likes the red and yellow ones! She gets really excited for red, and calmly takes yellow, but will not touch the green. I don't even know if they're different flavors, but she turns her head away whenever we try to put the green ones near her mouth. If it's been a while since meal time, she might take it and then we find 90% of it later that she hid so we wouldn't keep trying to get her to eat it. Wish there was a way to order just one color, because we have to give all the green ones to our friend's dog.

I gave my dog ONE of these chews three days ago. He is 55 lbs and I gave him the large, so it was appropriately sized. He has been vomiting small chunks of the whimzeez brusheez since then. The chunks are only dime-sized, so he chewed it well, but they are really jagged and still HARD as a rock, did not break down at all. Our dog does not normally have any digestive issues. He has seemed in distress, panting, and sick since eating it. After reading reviews, this seems pretty common and I am surprised these have not been reformulated to be safer. I'm just lucky my dog wasn't one of the ones that ended up in the hospital with a blockage. Very unsafe, will not recommend or buy again.

My pup throws these up days after eating. I couldn’t figure out what the orange hard chunks were. Thought he was eating something outside. Figured out today it was undigested whimsees from days ago. I only gave him 3 over several weeks and each one caused this vomiting a day or so after ingesting. Mystery solved today when I recognized a big chunk of unsigned whimsee. I looked online on several blogs and saw this was an issue with many dogs. They shouldn’t be allowed to sell this! Awful product. Be sure to look at other dog sites/blog before purchasing! Very scary.

Our Rottie loves these, and they have worked great since he was a puppy to keep plaque and bad breath at bay. After 6 months of receiving these, our Malinois started vomiting up the undigested pieces in the middle of the night (about 12 hrs after eating them). I’m not sure which ingredient is causing the delayed digestive distress, but I’m done cleaning up puke at midnight!
Our 125lbs large breed dog was throwing up rubbery-looking chunks several times within a couple weeks, which cost us $900 at the vet. It turned out that he was throwing up Brushzee chunks. Every time he ate a Brushzee, he threw up all of it about 18 hours later, the chew was not digested at all. We tossed out the rest and switched back to Greenies.
My dog suffers from pretty bad dog breath and we read that Greenies aren’t that great for dogs so we thought we’d give these a try. They worked great for getting rid of the bad breath, but made her ill. She threw up 2 mornings straight after eating these, but just thought it was because she found a small piece of salami. We stopped giving her any sort of treats (even these breath chews) until she seemed to be feeling better. Once she was back to normal I gave her one of these chews and sure enough she threw up the next morning. I had a feeling it was caused by these, so I looked at only the one star reviews and they were all the same. She threw up little chunks of the chews her body could not digest. I do not recommend giving these to your dogs.
I have an 8 month old mini aussie (I know this product isn’t the puppy chews, but she’s a power chewer and puppy chews are often too soft for her) and she lost interest in Whimzees dental bones after 3 days. We had switched her off another brand suddenly because I’ve heard many people say Whimzees is the best dental chew online. And nothing about the last brand we used, since Whimzees was cheaper I bought it. She loved it for the first few days. Now she refuses to eat them, they’ll lay around the floor for days. When we try to give her a new one she will take it and run around a bit, then leave it somewhere and never touch it again. Pretty disappointed, I don’t know if my dog is just weird but we will probably switch back to the brand we were using before…and we ... MoreI have an 8 month old mini aussie (I know this product isn’t the puppy chews, but she’s a power chewer and puppy chews are often too soft for her) and she lost interest in Whimzees dental bones after 3 days. Would also like to add I rate the value of this product 5 stars because I got a bag of maybe 10 dental bones for $12-14. Pic of my dog clearly not interested in the bone.
My beagle Molly loves these chews (and all of the other Whimzees chews)! A worker at my local pet store recommended the alligators when she saw Molly. Apparently, they've gotten several great reviews from beagles! We get a variety of Whimzees, and my little one loves them all! Molly's veterinarian says she has perfect teeth, and I think having these twice a week helps! I choose Whimzees over other chews for a few reasons. First, I feel more comfortable giving these to Molly because she has never gotten too big of a piece off or choked on them; this is extremely important because we've had a couple of scares with other chews. Second, I like the ingredients these are made from, and they don't bother Molly's tummy. Finally, Molly and I both like variety, and there are plenty of options that our pet store sells individually instead of in packages. I can get a few of each and cycle through them. Thank you Whimzees for making these great chews and making me confident I am giving Molly the best!
I have two Shih Tzu's - one is 6 and the other just over 1 year. The older one had her teeth cleaned once when she was already under anesthetic for another reason, but they have progressively gotten more tarter. She would not let me use a brush on her teeth and I tried all forms of them. I tried tarter control toothpaste, mouth spray, stuff that goes in the water - just about everything I could find, and then I discovered these. (I also should mention, that being Shih Tzu's, they are both really fussy about eating things, making this even more difficult.) However, when I offered each of them one of these they took them immediately and ate them. Step one was successful. After a week or two I looked at their teeth and Cate's were actually MUCH cleaner, and even Loki had the small amount of discoloration on his teeth cleaned up. They have continued to love these things and beg for them every night after their dinner. Cate's teeth are beautiful (as are Loki's). I plan to give these to my dogs from now on. Cate can eat through hers pretty quickly - sometimes I give her one of the small treats (hedgehog) cut in half - they are a little harder and take her longer. They work so well for them.
I bought my dog one of these treats yesterday and gave it to her in the car on the way home around noon. She seemed to enjoy it, although it seemed hard for her to chew. At the time, I thought this might be a good thing and clean her teeth better. Wrong. I went to work today and came home to find my dog had thrown up three times. At first, I couldn’t figure out what she had thrown up (which looked like carrot-colored hard pieces). She has eaten two meals since having the treat, which apparently digested. The treat, however, did not digest and was the only thing my dog threw up besides bile. These definitely are not easily digested, and I hope she doesn’t end up with an obstruction. Reviews on other sites make it seem like this is a common problem. Avoid these treats!
