Whimzees Toothbrush Dental Dog Treats Small 24 Pack

My girls absolutely love Whimzees. They are an excellent daily dental stick, and have become an important part of our doggy dental hygiene regime. They just taste great too, because if I buy any other brand, my dogs simply won’t eat them. A really great product and brand!

Ever since my lab had a weird reaction to deer antlers, we had to find another type of chew for him to occupy some of his time and his urge to chew. These odd shaped chews always intrigued me and although the price is a little high, I bit the bullet to try them out since they are always so raved about. First off, I love that they have limited natural ingredients (potato, glycerin, cellulose, lecithin, malt extract and yeast) made in Holland. My dog doesn't have any bad reaction to them at all except for more poop because of the starch. Second of all it takes him 7-10 minutes to chew through it because they are harder than others on the market, but not too hard that it risks fracturing teeth. I would believe that the hardness of these treats do scrape off some plaque from the chewing action, but I think that these would be great for supplementing in between daily teeth brushing. I took off one star because these ones (toothbrush, especially the ones with the white calcium 'brushes') are too soft for my dog. He ate it in 4 minutes. I recommend the round veggie sausage one for a longer lasting chew (~7-10 minutes). They are also on the pricey side, but you can buy value packs on Amazon for much cheaper. I highly recommend them!

I'm not sure if these treats are doing much for my dog's teeth. He's not too into it either. He would chew on the top part that is shaped like a tooth but leave the rest of the treat. Then it would get too hard to reuse the bottom end. There are different colored treats but I'm not sure if they taste any different, as my dog is sick of all of them.

I give my dog one chew a day, after a few days it actually removed a stubborn tarter/plaque from his molar! IMO, this worked better than brushing because he is not a fan of getting his teeth brushed, but he happily chews this while it cleans his teeth. Not sure what my vet will say about this dental chew replacing tooth brushing, guess we will find out!

Dental treats made fun

I was gifted these to trial with an honest review. My dog seemed to like the treats, which is saying something as he has become fussy with dental treats over the last few years. The only con was for the first few days of consuming, he vomited later that day. I assume this is because of the change in diet. The treats come in fun shapes, and the packaging is easy to open.

I cannot get either of my dogs to eat them.

I bought these for something different and from all of the positive reviews. Unfortunately both of my mini foxie cross chihuahua hounds will not touch them. I've tried everyday for a week now and they don't want a bar of them. I was confident from the other reviews they would eat them no trouble but it's not the case at all. Disappointed.

Lily loves them

This product was gifted and I was asked to give my honest opinion. My dog loves the product. She was very excited when I opened the packet. The toothbrushes come in 3 different flavours and are the perfect size for her mouth. She did chew through it very quickly and I would probably prefer something that gave her a longer chew time but it's a great treat and is good for her. It's all natural and I like that it is gluten and grain-free. The packet is re-sealable with Velcro. I'll definitely purchase this for my fur baby.

My dog approves

My dog is usually picky when it comes to treats or dental chews so I was a little hesitant when I gave Whimzees to her. She loves it. She loves to chew on harder things so these chews gives her the satisfaction that her teeth desires. She also doesn't mind the taste. I like how the chews are in the shape of a toothbrush. It is easy to hold and doesn't have a strange smell that other chews have

My fussy Cavaliers love them

I was given this product to trial and asked to give my honest opinion. Looking at the chews I was taken by the size and toothbrush shape and wondered if my girls would like them as they have never had dental chew treats before. After a lot of sniffing and licking they began chewing and they absolutely loved them. I love that they are all natural, something I am a bit particular about with my fur babies. I was very impressed. A great product

I have 2 young female Cavalier King Charles Spaniels who can be very fussy at the best of time with something new and different but they absolutely LOVED them. They took awhile to look them over and sniff them out before eventually chewing through them. I am impressed. A great product made even better by the fact that they are made with natural ingredients
