Maintaining my dogs' good dental health is very important, and over the years I've given different dental chews to help with that maintenance. As I mentioned, the name fits because these chews are shaped like toothbrushes, alligators (they are adorable), and chew sticks. They come in a handy little tote box, which can be used for other things once it's empty. We are on our second box of Whimzees, and I anticipate staying with this brand.

Both my girls absolutely love these and can't get enough of it, to the extent they get quite mercenary about it. They herd my husband or I toward the drawer where the Whimzees are kept and will not let us pass till they each get a piece of Whimzee. Am glad they love this health treat, one that promotes good dental health.I usually buy the value box and my 2 girls go through a box in just under 2 months. My only one comment is that my Beagle (who has somewhat weak gums) struggles a bit with toothbrush shaped dental chew as they appear to be harder and more solid, so it at times causes bleeding of her gums. I sav the "toothbrushes" for my Singapore Special and give my Beagle eitheer the "croco" or "bad" shaped ones instead.Will definitely continue to purchase.

Always worry about developing tartar on their teeth. I've tried rawhides but my one dog is more interested in swallowing than chewing. I've had to pull out a large piece a few times that appeared stuck. And what good is a dental chew if the dog isn't going to chew it? So I tried Whimzees. They're great. Dog is 9 years old and has never needed a dental. She enjoys the chew and looks forward to the treat. My only complaint is that the large size is hard to get. Petco never seems to have sufficient quantity in stock. I sometimes need to go out of my way to find the product. But I do it because it's that good.
