Burts bees, it's been a very long time no see!! I used to collect Burts bees lip balms when I was in middle school and I was so happy to get the opportunity to try this lip shimmer. I really loved how effective this product was (I have since already almost finished it-thats how much I loved it). It provides me hydration while also giving me some color and a bit of a glam finish! It's totally a grown-up version of my favorite classic Burts bees lip balms that I was so obsessed with growing up. I have been using this lip shimmer nonstop everyday since I got it and I definitely will be restocking!

Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer has that same tingling sensation you remember from their original lip balm. The fig color odd an absolute dupe for Clinique Black Honey. If you want to see I am pointing to the Burt’s Bees Lip shimmer in the attached image on the other side I am wearing Black honey. Appears almost identical if you ask me, only difference is there is a little shimmer that does appear with the Burt’s Bees but not a ton. As for a wear test this is where it looses a star. Similar to any lip balm this has to be reapplied a lot throughout the day. By the second hour I could tell there had been a color on my lips but the Brody t had worn off. Supper common for lip balm just wish the pigment would have lasted at least two hours. 

Love the slim packaging. Hate the product. I love the idea of tint, but every other product of Burt’s bees that you try has a different consistency and I don’t like that it’s a gamble. This is an in between super slick and melty VS super hard beeswax. This one smells and gives off flavor because it’s on your lips of pure wax like a crayon. The color can be a little overwhelming and look fake like you stole a child’s play lipstick. The lip balm just is super slick and runny that it feels like it’s a melting mess on your lips and then there’s to much. Overall, this didn’t sit right with me with application, flavor, look, and cost! Mine has been breaking in chunks since and looks very melted now. I wouldn’t recommend getting one.

first off i loved the price of this; it was affordable while providing such a good color payoff. it looked like i was wearing lipstick because the color payoff was so good. but it felt as light as a lip balm. it didn’t feel heavy or dry my lips out like most lip products do. i also loved the minty feel it gave to my lips it was very refreshing each time i reapplied. it didn’t feel gritty or cling to any dry textured spots on my lips. it felt very smooth and i could rub my lips together and not lose any color or compromise the wear of the product. i even went ahead and purchased additional colors to make a staple in my beauty routine.

This is a fantastic product (especially in winter) for people like me who need the soothing effects of lip balm but also want the pigmentation and shine from lip gloss. It’s the perfect middle ground! I love the scent and texture, it’s just like a regular Burt’s Bees balm, just with some color and additional smell (it’s minty as well). I’ve used the Peony before as well and each color is great, it just depends on your mood and whether you want a lighter or darker look for your lips. Either way, I love this product and it’s perfect for chap-lipped girlies who still want some color!

I absolutely love Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in Fig! The color is a beautiful, rich berry tone that complements any look, and the shimmer adds just the right amount of sparkle without being over-the-top. The formula is super moisturizing, leaving my lips soft and smooth throughout the day. I also love that it's made with natural ingredients and has a refreshing minty tingle when applied. This is my go-to lip product for everyday wear—it provides the perfect pop of color with all the benefits of a lip balm. Highly recommend!

I love this stuff and always have. I had one like this when I was little so it’s nostalgic wearing it again. The packaging is a little bit of false advertising as it seems designed to make you believe you’re getting more than you are. The scent is minty but sweet. It goes on super smooth, but leaves a slight tingle on your lips. The pigmentation is nice. More sheer than a lipstick, but you can definitely tell I’m wearing something. I appreciate the packaging being recyclable and is made with responsibly sourced beeswax.

Packaging is very appealing. It does have a nice scent. Texture is creamy soft and the price is pretty affordable me personally, I can’t use any type of products due to the fact it breaks my lips out but with this, it doesn’t as well I use it for blush because it’s so pigmented. I totally recommend this for any make up girly out there must try you can find this at Target, Walmart, Walgreens, etc.. the only thing I don’t necessarily like about it is that it cleans it’s a lip shimmer, and when you apply it, you barely see the shimmer to be honest when I think about lip shimmer I’m thinking about super sparkly. I love burts bees lip shimmer chapped stick! It has a beautiful, light tint that sparkles ever so slightly! The color tint is perfect - not too bold where it'd be obviously worn off like lipsticks. The balm has peppermint so it has a little cooling sensation! This brought moisture back to my dry, sun-kissed lips. Big bonus is this made from ingredients with 100% natural origin! My new favorite balm - ill be getting other colors!
