The Child of my Heart figurine features an adoring mother cradling a young child with a slightly different skin tone - a tribute to multi-racial, adoptive, and blended families. Child of the world, into my heart you came - Bringing sun into my life, making family our name. Each original sculpture is hand carved by artist Susan Lordi. Using family and friends as models, Susan’s goal is to capture a moment in time or express an intimate feeling. Pieces are cast from her original carving and individually painted by hand.
