I am an intermediate level player. I have been using Pro Staff 97 for about 2 years. While it is a great racket but it isn’t as forgiving as I would like it to be. Class 100 solved that problem. Clash is about the right weight and suits players with a bigger swing. More shots landed deeper and had topspin on it. Biggest improvement is the backhand (am a single handed backhand). I was able to hit back some really strong backhands. I strung it with WilsonNXT 16G Natural at 52. Overall, a great racket and the special discount price made it even better.

I recently got back into tennis after 20+ years. My old Wilson Pro-staff Classic 6.1s are still solid, but I wanted to see what new technology was out there. After doing some research into the best rackets for tennis elbow, I landed on the Clash 100. I am so happy with this purchase. It's a very sleek design that feels like a feather in my hand but plays like a beast. The contact is true and so far seems to be less stress on my arm and shoulder. Looking forward to many 3 set victories with this beauty!

I have been playing with it for about a week now and love it more and more every time I use it. I strung it with Luxilon 4g and Wilson gut at 48lbs. It's probably more for advanced players than beginners, since you have to be able to generate your own power. The increase in cushioning would not have made a difference to me twenty years ago, while the slight drop in feel definitely would have; however, that trade off is one I'm willing to make today. My only question is when is Wilson going to let us customize paint jobs on Clash racquets...?
I've been playing with it for about 6 months now after switching from another racket due to elbow pain. The racket plays great, it's soft but firm. It vibrates different from other rackets so you need to adjust to it. Easy on the arm yet powerful.Topspin and power are great.BUT!Two months ago I bought a 2nd Clash. The balance is off by 1cm and the weight by 5 grams. The rackets feels very different. I would be OK with the weight difference as that's an easy fix but balancing it is a pain if you do not want to spend extra money to have someone else do it. SW is probably off by a lot as well but I haven't checked it with a machine.I do recommend it but if you need more than one, check a few and choose the ones that have similar weight/balance/SW.
The Clash has improved my game. I swing better and lighter. My previous racket was just too heavy. I also have advantages at the net due to the light handling. The Clash is also relatively forgiving, imprecise hits outside the sweet spot still come relatively well and accurately.Additionly it is very arm-friendly; one reason why I bought the Clash.Strong hiters, advanced TopSpin players and very advanced players go better for the BLADE, because the Clash with its 285g balanced weight is to light and does not generate the power you might expect.

The Flex is great! I have been playing with a Head Radical Youtek IG OS for the last 7 years due to elbow issues. I have been searching for a replacement racquet for years. I have finally found it in the Wilson Clash 100. I have played 11 sets over that last 3 days and I have NO ELBOW issues! I do have to make some small adjustments because I have a lot more power with this racquet without losing control. If I swing nice and easy the racquet performs Great! If I try to muscle up like I had to with my Head Radical the ball flys long and I do not have the control that I need. Overall a great racquet and my stick for the up coming USTA season. I'm a 4.5 player (55 years old) and retire teaching pro. If you are looking for a new racquet you must demo the Wilson Clash!
