The item is exactly as it is in the product description; weight feels a little light on regular forearms and backhads making it quite easy to maneuver, but can feel during serves. I would probably prefer the 16 x 20 string pattern more if it was available in 315 g.And how beautiful is this pearly white colour scheme!

Throughout this last week I have had the opportunity to test the new Wilson Shift 99 (315gr) strung with Luxilon Alu Power 125 (54lbs). During this testing period I have been able to observe how my strokes have improved in precision. From my perspective, I think it would be the perfect racket if they added a little more power to it. Overall, I found the new Wilson Shift to be a great racket for players looking to combine power and control in their game. When you play with it you notice that it is a racket designed with high quality materials, resistant and with a wide sweet spot which makes it ideal for players at any level. Looks amazing with the bag too!

What I noticed immediately is how much more forgiving this racket is due to the 99sq inch head size and 18x20 string pattern. Also, because of the thicker beam of the Shift I was really surprised by the amount of power I was able to generate all around, especially on the backhand side.
I was able to playtest the Shift for the last two month and this racket is unlike any other racket I played with. The 99 sq in headsize is unique and provides you with a big sweet spot adding a lot of power and a massive amount of spin to your shots. I can only recommend giving this racket a try. You get used to it really fast and it's just fun to hit with. If you aren't sure about the weight of 315g you can still go for the 300g version of Shift.
I was lucky enough to try out this racquet and it didn't disappoint. I like how soft the racquet feels when hitting. I am a coach and hit roughly 6-7 hours a day and this racquet always felt easy to use. Definitely one of Wilsons best products out at the moment.
I had my racket strung with Luxilon Alu Power 125 at 53 lbs. From the beginning I really enjoyed playing with the racket! The Shift surprised me with its maneuverability (even with 315g)!The easy access to power paired with the right amount of control and stability where my highlights! I guess every ambitious player looking for power and control should give the Shift a try! For others I would recommend the lighter version.Not to forget the great design!!

My primary playing racket is the Ultra Pro 18×20 weighted to 317g balanced at 30.7cm so the specs on Shift felt very familiar to me. The head size is 99 but feels a bit more generous than that. I’ve had the Shift about 2 weeks. Strung with Luxilon smart strings at 46lbs. It’s consistent. Solid. Powerful. Reliable. I love it.
Strung this @ 54lbs with ALU Power, this racket initially took time to “warm up” as I felt it was very stiff. After about an hour of getting use to this 315 racket, it was amazing in absorbing pace from your opponent and firing back with your own power! The control and spin was everything described as well, but I must say, the volleys and plow through were the best. This racket is almost a combination of the Blade V8 and Ultra V4, some say Clash too. Loved playing with this shift 315!
