The ball said it was synthetic leather but it feels more like rubber. It has to much grip. It also seems smaller than a regulation ball. I still like it because as a kid I had an ABA Ball and this is really close to that one.

When we bought this item, it came defective. The ball would not hold air for more than 10 minutes of play. There are no holes in it, it seems as though it is leaking out of the air pumps hole. It was a short notice buy and we needed to use it immediately, so our plans were ruined because of it. I understand there are defects, but this was an important event ruined. Will not be buying this brand again.

Won’t stay inflated. Bought for my daughter and from the first day we bought it, it has to be re pumped up every time she goes to use it. She has only used it indoors for her school practices and each time it’s flat. I have to exchange it. Not sure if it’s defective or if they’re all like this, but it’s irritating.

I’ve always wanted this ball ever since the poster of Dr. J flying to the hoop with the ABA red, white and blue ball. I have the jersey and now the ball to go with it. Plus it looks sweet when you shoot the ball with rotation. Get it now!
I brought these last month for our award ceremony for our 7-8 park and rec basketball and which my husband was the coach. The children enjoyed the coach signing and them having their other teammates sign their balls. They were just the right size, perfect for what it was intended for.
First basketball came deflated. We filled it with air no problem. Didn’t think much about it until after 24 hrs it was deflated again. Called Target and they sent a replacement out right away. Ball works great for my third grade son.
This ball looks great. It feels great. But after two minimal uses, the composite leather is peeling off completely. Other reviews are saying the same thing. We should’ve read reviews before purchasing. Wilson is honoring their warranty with a voucher for a different ball of the same price.

It’s a great ball, not slick at all. Good grip. What you should know is that the red is actually red-orange. It bothers me a little because I wanted the true red, white & blue (not red-orange). The ball however feels legit. We use it in our league games. But it.
