Wilson US Open 4 Ball Can

The balls are of good quality. But it seems that they are designed for professional tournaments only. They feel very heavy when hitting. The bounce is not high, which is a good thing while playing on hard courts. The cover for the can has a big hole in it, so the balls in the can will remain open to air after 1st use. I suggest keeping the covers from old cans of other ball types.

Best balls for Hard courts

As compare to other balls, these are best in terms of pressure and durability.and power. other balls are quite slow and create pain in hands. in these balls, power itself in balls, no need to generate extra power from hands., just timing. and tennis hub is genuine site and original stuff. no doubt on quality of tennis hub stuff.

Durable, lively and speed up tennis balls

Amazing balls. They are lively, bounce well, hold the pressure for a long time (the longest I have seen on any ball) and keep their fluff. Quite durable. I like how they speed up the game compare to other balls. They are a bit pricey but when you find a good deal, it worth your money.

Great long lasting ball

Four of us played singles on two courts last week. One court used these Wilson balls. The other court used Penn balls. Players commented on the difference. The Wilson balls lasted much better across the three sets.

Summary of US Open Extra Duty Balls

US Open Extra Duty balls are an excellent choice for recreational players on hard courts in the Midwest. They are not as light as some other balls - for example Tecnifibre. They last a few plays 2-3 depending on how intensive is the play and conditions. Either way, they will go bad and won't bounce as good quickly but good enough. Other balls are actually worse then these. So don't think twice - yes pricier but worth the extra quality.

Top tier ball

The US. Open Wilson tennis ball is my go-to ball for big matches. For high-level play, when I open and use this ball, I have that extra level of confidence when the match starts that I'm gonna have a consistent high good bouncing ball. That has an even higher probability to have no ball squeeze on the newly open ball. This ball will last for the 2.5 hour marathon match. The premium cost encourages me to not use it for practice though. I have the same opinion for ProPenn balls. Penn/Wilson/Dunlap (ITF/USTA approved) do a solid job for those matches.

The Wilson US Open Official Ball EXTRA DUTY are without doubt the best tennis balls I've had the pleasure to play with - beats any Slazenger ball hands down - very durable & maintains their pressure bounce for 2 weeks after being used. All players who play in my arranged tennis comps each week have given them the thumbs up - have not received one complaint about this ball. And the price is cheaper than Slazenger for a box of balls. I would encourage any player/clubs thinking of using this ball to purchase the whole box of balls - you'll never need to consider using any other ball for both hard court or synthetic grass courts.

Picked up these balls for tennis as I had always had good luck with the mid-higher quality tennis balls for street hockey. They are not dollar store tennis balls, they won’t fold and they do have a nice consistent bounce. I’m sure there’s better, for more money, but these are great everyday tennis balls for the price with no complaints.
