Windex Electronics Wipes, 25-Count

Got these originally to clean all of my electronics (smart tv, streaming devices, tablets, sensitive electronics, etc). I figured these would help with the streaking and residue some cleaners leave. Well, the good news: they do clean. They remove dust and debris, substances most cleaners remove. The dislikes… it left a thin film-like residue across my screens. They are also are a one time use disposable cloth cleaner. So, while they did clean, it wasn’t any better than regular cleaners and I hate the waste of the single use towels.

Good, not great

These generally do a good job of cleaning the screen but I have found I need to go over the screen with a microfiber immediately afterwards to eliminate any smudges or smears. The problem I've found with these wipes is they tend to dry out over time. I have taken to storing them inside a sealed gallon bag to extend their usable shelf life. Once you open the package, no matter how well you seal it, you need to understand these will not store for any extended period of time without drying out and becoming unusable.

Great for portability, rather than effectiveness.

I have not used these yet, but it replaced a Staples bottle of liquid cleaner. These wipes can be saved in our home office, rather than me going to a closet where we keep our bin of cleaning supplies. We can also use these wipes to clean fingerprints off our plasma / smart TV screens.

Great wipes!

I bought these because my tv had some smudges I couldn’t take off. I read through the reviews. I decided to give it a try. First I cleaned my tv with a microfiber the best I could. Then from there I cleaned it with the wipes. Right away it took off the smudges I couldn’t take off. There was no streaks. I just used 2 wipes for my 65 inch tv and it worked amazing fine. After I cleaned it with the wipes I ran it again with the microfiber. My husband could see the difference and said I made a good call. That was on 10/30/22. Today it is 11/01/22 and there is no streaks, no smudges, and still looks great. Will be using these from now on moving forward. Leaves heavy streaks on glass

Don’t clean your display with this product. It left heavy streaks on the surface and required re-cleaning with another product, and polishing with a microfiber cloth. It also leave residue on other surfaces. Overall not a good product whatsoever.

Useful for kids/classroom/tech center

These are your standard "x" wet wipe. I've used the pledge ones for furniture; the disinfecting ones for knobs etc. These ones are for our tech center. Everyone has a tablet, Gameboy, kindle, phone... seriously, the amount of electronics only increases😲 so you will need something and these are just plan easy. The kids (kindergarten to 2nd graders) can pull out a wipe and wipe down their tablets themselves. Each wipe can easily clean caked on gunk from four+ devices. They are not perfumed but do have a delicate smell I can't quite place. (No one has reacted negatively to it.) Each wipe is thick and strong enough that in several weeks of use no one has torn or ripped through one. The screens look great and I feel more comfortable using these long term.

Now listen I’m not much of a reviewer but just had to this Time! This is the worst product I have ever bought and used ! The reviews that gave 5 stars they must’ve just wiped the rim of the TV ! Cause the way the streaks and smudges are running across mine is ridiculous! This product is NOT for TVs or Mac Books ! Whomever is reading this from the windex empire . Go back to the drawing board . This is not a great product! Or at least on the packaging take the word TV offfffff! Thanks

Works great!

The wipes worked great. They were wet but not too wet, just right. I used one to clean a 32" TV that the grandkids use and it got all the sticky stuff off the screen and didn't leave streaks. I notice that the cleaner seems to dry more evenly if you wipe up and down rather than across so I finished by wiping up and down. The wipe stayed damp so that I could go across the screen multiple times. It was still damp enough afterwards to clean my phone. The fabric is soft unlike eyeglass wipes that can also clean some devices but are too scratchy to clean a TV screen. Very pleased with how this product worked.

Works perfectly with microfiber cloths

I see why the reviews are mixed on this product. You must polish TVs with a clean microfiber cloth AFTER cleaning. My TV was filthy after sitting in storage for 6 months. These wipes cleaned it easily but did leave streaks, however—a quick wipe with a microfiber cloth removed the streaks and tv looks brand new.

I was pleasantly surprised how well these cleaned up my screens and keyboards/remotes. I was able to clean a handful of items with one wipe, because the size of them is larger than most wipes I've come across. I was also impressed it did not streak my screens or items, because no matter how many times I've seen products claiming not to streak- they always do at least a little bit. I really didn't see any streaking with these. The scent is light and fresh smelling, and only lasted while it was wet. It removed finger prints, dust, and even slobber when my dog decided the remote needed a tongue bath. I haven't had the wipes long enough to know whether they stay moist in their pouch, but the seal seemed pretty strong so far.
