in the last 12 months I have brought 9 faux white blinds, our house is a renovated old Queenslander so every window is different, my husband needed to cut them to size, worked perfect, The strings are very long but how easy is it to cut a string shorter and knot it off.the only one I bought elsewhere was for a ! meter wide window, as the 1200 blind couldn't cut back that far due to the string alinement. I wouldn't buy online as post was too expensive, I purchased at 50% off sales, the only issue was the stock takes a while to be refilled . I just hope in the years to come they don't go yellow.

Easy to self install, paint appears very thin, and has already started chipping at the point where the cordless wand rests, there are no clips to lock it in at the base to stop it moving in the breeze, The top bracket cover is minimalist - narrow and thin only just covers the inner workings. They are a very tight fit inside the window frame. Stated in the instructions avoid water and rain - Disappointing they knew it was a window covering, likely going over a window, that would likely be opened, that may have rain on the wind. We were replacing 15 year old like for like and needed the wooden slats for the strong western sun. The plastic faux wood water proof plastic may not have been as sustainable.

Upon installing the 240mm wide version of this blind there was a distinct droop to the left side of the blind (upon removal a clip was found to be missing inside the mechanism so this side was hanging unevenly). That was bad enough, but then when raising the blind up after lowering it the right hand side then had an even worse droop! All in all I spent hours collecting these blinds (I bought two, but didn't even bother opening the second, just returned it), transporting them home, hanging the defective one, dismantling and repackaging it, taking it back to the store and then dealing with the quite unfriendly service staff to obtain a refund (without so much as a 'sorry for your bad experience')...a true case of you get what you pay for really. Also these aren't the 'faux wood' that mimics the look and feel of wood, they are just floppy plastic. They would have been ok if they worked, for the price, but two major defects in one item doesn't suggest a high level of quality control, and essentially the blind I hung was unusable, an eyesore, and not fit for purpose. I took the risk and gave them a chance, but I value my time and energy way to highly to fall for this again, and wouldn't want others to have to deal with this if they know to avoid it instead.
Bought as replacement for 25mm aluminium bedroom blinds that were 18 years old. Love how sturdy they are, and can ɓe vacuumed easily with an attachment. We get a lot of dust and the robust wider vanes are so easy to clean. Just waiting till you have more sizes in stock and may keep on replacing 😊
Good product for the price, especially since I got it on sale! The strings don’t pull as smoothly as I wanted, but still do the job without effort (I have previously used high quality blinds so this is what I compared that too). Purchased these blinds for entire house & am happy with them. Easy to install yourself (easy to shorten the length yourself as well). Would definitely recommend this product!
Pulley rope to open and close the blind not only looks terrible but doesn't function well. It's very stiff and catches regularly as it moves. Can't adjust the length of the pulley rope so youre limited in how much you can shorten the blind.One of the guide cords snapped as we were installing it (didnt take much to break it) just lucky we planned to shorten the blind so we can tie it off at the end.
Quality is good, however, some have a slight bow on the edges, possibly due to thin slates.Some blinds were ok as I installed many different sizes. Regardless they look good and had very little width gap, so they fit snug.For shortening, I recommend watching a youtube video, as the wider blinds now have 2 lifting cords and you DO NOT want to cut them. You remove the excess slates by bending and snapping them and then pull the lifting cords until the bottom rail is at the desired position. Best watch the video. This is for PVC slates. I would buy again.
Decided to replace our old vertical blinds and so glad we chose these lovely wooden Venetian blinds.Also timing was great as they were greatly reduced on sale. They look amazing. Very happy with our spotlight purchase.
I have bought at least 6 of these blinds about 3 years ago and now most windows in house have them. They fitted widows with no adjustment necessary. The previous ones still look good.They are easy to put up and look fresh and stylish with minimal expense.Highly Recommended.
