This unit is easy to use. It was a bit disconcerting hearing the Plasmawave doing its job at first but as it worked on the air quality in the room that changed for the better. The unit is effective and quiet on sleep mode which it automatically switches to when the lights are dimmed. It is hardly noticed when running on Auto except if we have an influx of poor quality air when the indicator light changes exactly in sync with our comfort regarding breathing which quickly eases as the unit works harder to clean the air for us automatically adjusting throughput effectively. After reading all the the great reviews on several websites I made the decision to buy this purifier and I have to say it worked wonders first go. My delivery was super quick it was delivered 3 days after I ordered it. My 17yr old put it in her room the first night, she suffers from dust allergies so lots of sneezing and itchy throat etc when she woke up not one sniffle or clearing of the throat like she normally does and she looked refreshed and she said her room didn't smell bad anymore lol, she then came home from school and said it was the first time she hasn't been tired at school. Saying that if your unit does end up playing dumb, contact Ausclimate or Appliances Online and they will be happy to assist you.THE BIGGEST feature is the new Plasmawave 2.0 tech and it is famtastic! This latest iteration which CANNOT be found in other Winix products, (as of this review), is suppose to also help with destroying common pet viruses along with the usual VOD's that can be harmful for humans. The previous iteration could only do the latter. I can say that it works a charm as it not only made the air more breathable, but it also HELPED with clearing up my cats calicivirus infection as her symptoms were less severe with the plasmawave function on. HOWEVER I do not recommend this feature to be on all the time as extended periods can lead to a smokey/electric burning like smell. (Based on 12 hour test). Short periods, I'd say 4-6 hours is plenty, especially with how large an area this purifier can diffuse over. Because it primarily uses Neutrons, (negatively charged particles), to breakdown VOD's and viruses, (instead of UV light like some others on the market) it will produce subsequently produce Ozone.From using the machine, it has not affected my breathing nor has it impacted my pets breathing. Additionally the produced ozone is no-where near the levels needed to harm anyone or anything, but it is still something to consider for the pedantic out there.Filtration and air purification is fantastic. The air is clean and the carbon filter leaves no "smell" under operation. Smoke and odour's are virtually all absorbed and all dust and pet dander, also well taken care of. If there is one thing you can't criticise about this machine it's how well it purifies the air. Additionally if you really dont want to spend the extra money on the pet filters, the machine can still operate without them. No "gotcha" sensors inside. Just a fan, and a fantastic and effective array of filters.Overall this air purifier is built pretty well for plastic, is easy to assemble and works brilliantly. Cleaning the thing is easy, features though basic are highly effective and the purification, which is THE MOST IMPORTANT PART of any air purifier, is top notch.

The Ausclimate 50L dehumidifier is excellent. I bought the Winix Pro 5-stage filter to complement it and remove mould spores and other impurities, particularly as I have asthma and allergic rhinitis. It's easy to use, especially in Auto mode. Very quiet, especially at night in Auto or Night mode, and doesn't use a lot of electricity, which is important for us being off-grid. Would give five stars except that the pet filter is a bit finicky. I was unable to remove the backing from some parts of the sticky strips without pulling the sticky strips away from the filter. Hopefully the rest of the pack won't have the same issue. I cleaned the pre-filter for the first time after a couple of weeks use and was flabbergasted by how much dust had collected. The pet filter had also accumulated a huge amount of bird feather dust. I was able to clean it somewhat by gently blowing with my air compressor. I've since bought a Pro 4-stage filter from a local shop for the bedroom; it doesn't use a dedicated pet filter. Although I bought the filter mainly to remove mould spores, having it clean pet dander and dust from the air is a huge bonus.
I was very sceptical of getting an air purifier, after reading the benefits of one I researched for a few weeks and decided on the Winix Zero+.I'm amazed at the difference it makes. The air in apartment is clearly cleaner and fresher. I seem to sleep better at night. I don't really suffer from allergies, though would occasionally get an itchy nose. That's gone! Plus it's very quiet and automatically turns itself onto sleep mode when the lights go out.When cooking it turns itself up and quickly removes the smells. Also reacts to deodorant in the air.I'm a convert!
The Winix Zero + pro has been amazing. The air quality is clearly notable with two dogs in the house, the dog smell has disappeared and the dust reduced dramatically. I notice household smells clear quickly. I have it in a very large living room that cannot be blocked off from the rest of the house (large) so I leave it on 24/7 and the whole house smells very clean. At this point we haven’t had any respiratory illnesses. I am saving for another to put in my large bedroom which is reasonably removed from the main living area to help with the winter viruses as I work in health. I recommend this product without a doubt.

We are really happy with the Winix Zero+ Pro 5 Stage Air Purifier - so much so that we have two! The service and advice from Healthy Habitats were excellent - Bol took the time to talk through the purifiers’ features and suitability and understand our specific needs. The Winix is compact and light enough to move around easily. We would recommend both the Winix Purifier and Healthy Habitats.
This is an excellent unit. Purchased primarily due to hay fever issues (but also used in COVID room). Found it to be very effective in reducing the impact of hay fever irritants and quite noticeable improvement in the air quality. Also very quiet. Highly recommended. Worth noting the purchase and delivery was both seamless and very very quick. Ordered one day and arrived the next.
This is my second Winix air purifier. I loved my four stage one so much I bought the five stage one for my office. I’ve got a third compact one on the way. They clean your air, relatively quiet and lightweight. Handy sleep function. Mix of washable filters and replaceable filters. Particularly high quality charcoal filter and the true HEPA filter goes to 0.3 microns. Depending on the size of your room you may want the larger five stage, but the four stage is lighter and easier to move.
