It took a little time to get used to, as you have to work a little faster when you paint, but it's really worth it if you need something to dry faster. I use it mainly for first layer and backgrounds. It also makes the paint flow easier, which is very nice. I recommend this for all water mixable oil paints.

This is the first time I've tried a drying medium. It kept the oil paint mobile enough to work with and greatly reduced the drying time. There wasn't any noticeable effects on the color, as well. Of course, with Winsor and Newton I've never had a bad experience using their products.

This medium is wonderful for loosening the stiff oil paints. I apply it with the fast drying medium of the same brand for my next sessions in my painting courses.

The fumes were bad & the was thick when mixed with paint medium. It looked almost like liquid white. It didn’t really work for me, but I’m new to water-soluble oil paints.
