Henry Newton and William Winsor introduced the first moist watercolour to the world in 1832 and since then the Artists Water Colour range has been developed to achieve the highest possible permance within a wide range of well balanced pigments. Single pigments are used whenever possible thus creating a cleaner and purer colour. The binding medium used is the highest quality Gum Arabic called Gum Kordofan from acacia trees in Africa. The half pans of watercolour are often used by the beginner as you generally have more control over the strength of colour.They are also ideal for painting holidays, painting when travelling and sketching.
