I was searching for a smart scale that was compatible with my LoseIt! App, which I also love. On their website it said that the Withings scales sync with the LoseIt! app and the Apple Health app. Now, I can step on the scale in the morning when I wake up and it syncs to everything; so easy! No more having to manually enter stuff in to each app. Also, the one thing I'm not too sure about is the heart rate monitor. I wear an Oura ring and sometimes the heart rates are different at the same time they are read. Other than that, the app that works with Withings is great to track goals. If you are goofing around and accidentally did an incorrect measurement, you can go in and delete it. I'm lean, train over 8 hours per week, and have a resting heart rate of 41bpm. There is an athlete mode they promote if you meet certain criteria, all that does is lower your body weight % and increase your muscle mass. There should be no need for an athlete mode if these scales were scanning you correctly. Last week was a solid training week and i lost -.8kg, however this tells me my body fat % went up by +.5% in that week. That's impossible when loosing -.8kg and eating in a calorie deficit every day. At first, I had moderate difficulty with setup of this device and it took a couple of tries. After restarting the connection process on both the scale and my mobile device, it was working great. It syncs my information very quickly, and I love that it allows for charting information over time, as well as allowing for multiple users. The vascular age feature is my favorite feature, as cardio health is important to me due to a family history of issues in that area. It does take 5 readings before you can get vascular age results. Of all the "smart scales" out there, I think this Withings Body Cardio Black Smart Scale is the best one I've seen. It connects, via Bluetooth or WiFi, to the HealthMate app for long-term tracking over time so that you can see your body evolution (for better or worse!). This scale measures your weight, of course, but also your BMI, heart rate, vascular age, and body composition. I also love that it's compatible with 100 top health/fitness apps. It's great for keeping track of your progress in meeting your health goals. And I believe you can have up to 5 different profiles, which is nice for the family. And also....it looks super sleek and classy. Overall, it's a great thing to have around as part of your fitness journey.

It took me several minutes of pressing the side button over and over for the scale to stay on long enough enough to be recognized by Bluetooth. It was over 60% charged at that point. Later on I had it charging and it went from 63% to 67% in 2 hours. I unplugged and plugged it back in and a few hours later it was finally at 100. The heart rate monitor was also wildly inaccurate and read me at 129, then 96 bpm, impossible. This scale is very stylish and the digital screen is bright and easy to read. The Withings support team stated it needed to be replaced - great only they seem to only support USA/ Mexico, Canada and Europe - I was offered a coupon for 25% to pay them more money to replace a product that failed in 14 months.
