These shoes are hard to find. Most sites either don't have them or only have a handful of sizes in one or two colors. I was fortunate enough to snag a pair in my size!My first marathon was in 2007, and dozens upon dozens later I'm still running races in my Nimbus. Some of the new styles have been decent changes, and some have left a lot to be desired. This is the first redo where everything is perfect: tongue is soft and stretchy, there's appropriate cushion w/o feeling heavy, the sole is responsive, and the toe box is roomy even for my wide feet. These shoes are the real deal. Worth the $ for the latest version.

Excellent running shoe!

What a great running shoe! These are so light and comfortable to wear straight out of the box. Very comfortable to run in - obviously what they are designed for! wearing these gave me the cushioning that I needed and the extra bounce to make my run that little bit more enjoyable. The sizing is a little small due to the padding on the inside back of the shoe so I would say order 1/2 to a whole size larger than your usual size otherwise they will be a little tight. The only negative I would point out that is that the finish could have been a little better. There are quite noticeable glue marks where the fabric meets the base of the shoe, so make sure you examine yours properly when you purchase them.I would definitely recommend these if you are looking to ... MoreWhat a great running shoe! These are so light and comfortable to wear straight out of the box. Great if you run on clean, dry pavement

This new Nimbus has zero traction. It is great on clean, dry pavement. But if there is any dirt, salt or sand on the pavement it feels very slippery. It even feels slippery on certain wet pavement. I don't expect trail runner type traction, but also don't think my feet should slip if I simply encounter some sand on a sidewalk. Wish they would at least go back to what the tread was on the Nimbus 24. I do love the cushion and feel and if the traction were better I would give these shoes 5 stars. It fits slightly looser than the Nimbus 24 but not enough to go down a size.

Great looking comfortable trainer very cushioned bouncy sole
23 April 2023

I love the look of these trainers, a bright salmon colour with peach and purple trim. I tend to go half a size down in some trainers but these fit true to size. I have quite wide feet but these felt a good fit. When you first put these trainers on they immediately feel supportive, extremely well padded, the material is very soft, the sole is thick and quite bouncy. I found the sole a little too thick for running but some people may want this, especially if running on roads. They are lightweight, supportive, feel and look like a great quality trainer. Would definitely recommend.

Huge improvement over previous version
14 March 2023

This is my new favorite shoe! The new version (Nimbus 25) is a huge improvement in many ways over the previous version (Nimbus 24). This new version has reduced heel drop which eases the pressure off of the forefoot (old version pushed me onto my toes and caused pain in the ball of my foot). This new version is more cushy and has a pull tab at the heel to make it easy to get the shoe on. I am very happy that there are some fun colors in the Wide version. I ordered the silver/purple in size 8 Wide. I sized up one whole size from my regular shoe size. I have high arches and I am a heel striker. I like that ASICS is making a high quality shoe to help those with high arches and underpronation. This shoe also has a lot of reflective details, which is very important to me.

Mixed review
12 April 2023

I was very mixed as to whether I liked these shoes or not. As a runner (currently training for a marathon) I unfortunately didn't get on with these shoes. But running shoes are a very personal choice and having completed a gait analysis, I know a less cushioned sole works for me as my ankles turn when running and firmer soles prevent that from happening. These shoes have incredibly bouncy soles so would be a fantastic trainer if that style suited you.The trainers itself have padding in all the right areas (around the lower ankles and heels) and a very breathable fabric on the top. I particularly like that the tongue is super breathable and stretchy. I have wide feet so tend to go up half a size if I'm not able to try on and the 5.5 fitted me perfectly. I feel the insole could have more support so if you have a high instep they may fall a little short in that area. Finally the colour is wonderful - sort of like a neon coral colour and I loved it!So although these trainers aren't right for me due to personal preference, they're still great running shoes.

Not for runners…something is off
13 April 2023

I bought these about a month ago and have had nothing but problems. I have been running for over 35 years, including D1, so I have worn a lot of shoes. I have mainly worn ASICS for the last 20 years. After logging about 75 miles in this shoe the right heel sits much lower that the left and I am not a heel striker. It feels as though I am wearing two different shoes. In addition, I have developed knee pains in both knees. I feel as though the roll off this shoe isn’t natural. Maybe the shoe is too stacked or the slope of the shoe isn’t correct but something is off. Be warned they feel good standing in them when you’re trying them on but for me there is something off when running in them. Not worth it. Contacted ASICS and they don’t care about my concerns

Returning
17 March 2023

Most cushioned shoe i have ever put on. Good support. Still, as in the past, this brand runs too narrow for me.. Also weird rubbing on top side of my foot with this model. For me, just too much shoe, like a Hoka. Expect it may work well for others. Not me...high arches, C width as measured at RR, 8.5 athletic size. Bought a 9 regular and had just enough room for my toes. RR had no 8.5 Wides. Imagine 8.5 would have been too short.. Believe this model runs short and narrow, though wider than in the past with Asics.

The best running shoes!
1 April 2023

I was sceptical about these trainers and how good they could be for the price but I was proved very wrong. The minute I put them on and walked around in them, i was sold. The material is so soft and they are very easy to put one. The soles of these trainers are so spongy it felt like I was walking on cushions. The next test was taking them out on my first run. I've never want to run far on a new pair of trainers but I felt I could run in these for miles. Even though the material is soft, they were very supportive and I suffer with knee pain when I don't wear the most appropriate trainers but I have not felt any twinges since wearing them and that is a first. I love the papaya colour too, they really give a pop of colour to my normally vey dart running gear! The most comfortable shoe ever
28 April 2023

This is refered to as the most comfortable shoe ever. Not having experienced that many various models that actually fit my foot I was a bit sceptic. But after putting my feet in them for the first time I was inlove. SO COMFORTABLE! Great with the lacing as the plouse is attached so it stays in the right position the entire run. Thick sole (41mm) which makes those long runs a bit more nice on the legs and the recovery a bit shorter.I am so holding on to these!
