I always thought all the excitement around these high class shoes was just an excuse to charge an all and a leg, but these things are worth one of my arms or legs!They make you feel like you're walking on air. I was told Hoka's were the best, but they don't even compare to these! Every time my foot hit the pavement, there was zero impact on my knees! I may even be able to start jogging again which I have missed since my knees and hips gave me so many problems!Try them and you'll be a believer too!!!

These are certainly squishy with plenty of cushion with every step, however there are three main reasons I have offered a low rating: one, the footbed height is very shallow. Size 9D was long enough but vertically way too tight on the toes, so I got the 9 1/2 D, which is a tad long but offered a bit more vertical toe space. Second, they lack good arch support. After trying these 1080's in another color, I ordered the 1080V14 through a New Balance store. I own 4 pairs of 1080V12 shoes and love them. Only problem was my heel was beginning to hurt. After walking in these shoes and playing pickleball, I'm now having pain above my smaller toes (worst on the left). Apparently, this new version is too tight in the upper. There used to be more room and I never had this issue. I hope NB reverses this trend and goes back to a roomier upper. For now, I'll have to keep these and just wear them on occasion.

I am pleasantly surprised by this shoe. It is my first pair of Fresh Foam x 1080s and I have put about 50 miles on them so far. I have been using them mainly for easy runs and long runs where I’m not incorporating any additional speed work. They’re very comfortable and officially a new staple for my easy runs and recovery runs. My feet run very narrow so I do think the toe box is a bit too roomy, but no more roomy than any other shoe. So while I did get a blister on my toes from a bit too much movement during my 15 mi long run, I can’t knock them for my individual physical traits.
I've been running in these shoes for a couple of weeks and I LOVE them. They have great support if you have high arches, and are extremely comfortable. I have a slightly wider toe box and the shoe adapts really well to the shape of my foot without feeling too tight. I am a teacher and use them to walk all day (they are very cute which I like) and have no more pain in my feet after school! I also use them on runs and they have amazing cushioning. I highly recommend them- it's perfect for runners looking for a versatile daily trainer.

I am incredibly impressed with this shoe. Soft but bouncy, snug but not too tight. Genuinely felt a little boost in speed as soon as I started running with them, and they feel cushioned no matter where my foot strikes. They’re not great on trails (I think the soft cushion plus soft trail kills the responsiveness), but that’s a personal problem - I dream of a shoe that does it all - not an issue with the shoe. I wouldn’t hesitate to use these for a recovery run or easy day! I haven’t tried picking up the pace in these, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they performed well on a tempo. Overall thrilled with this shoe, and it’s true to size!
This was my first time running in New Balance, and they didn’t disappoint! The ankle support is fantastic, the shoes are incredibly lightweight, and the foam delivers excellent energy return. You can really feel the bounce with each stride. These will definitely be my go-to shoes for my upcoming marathon!Even on tired legs, they give you that extra boost, which is especially helpful on longer runs. Since switching to these, I’ve noticed I’m 30 seconds faster on Strava! Highly recommend!
This is my first pair of 1080s and it definitely won’t be my last! These shoes are comfortable, roomy, cushioned and have nice support and responsiveness. They require no break in time - I ran a long run in them my first wear with no blisters or issues! I love a wide toe box and cushioned stack and these definitely deliver on the front. The cushion doesn’t take away from the bouncy feeling these shoes give and the stability around the ankle. Highly recommend!
I received this product for free from Influenster and New Balance in exchange for my honest opinion. First off the package it came in was cute. The design of the shoe is gorgeous. However, when my daughter put it on it didn’t fit right on her foot and the support was not good. So I gave it to my niece and she could fit it and she loves how it support her when running and walking. So I have to say it’s good since my niece loves it. I would recommend this shoe and brand.
